Riley's POV
I wake up by my alarm clock, and realize it's Kiley's birthday today !
After brushing my teeth and washing my face, I walk to the kitchen and I see Matty.
M: hey sis !
Matty say and hugs me.
R: hey Matt. It's K's birthday today !
M: yeah I know ! But... I thought you would be more nervous about it...
Matty say confused. I don't understand... why would I be nervous ?
R: what ? Why ?
M: *sigh* Riley... I really think it's time to tell James the truth about... you know...
R: what ? No, no, no... no way. He's not ready yet...
M: or maybe... you don't ready yet ?
Matty asks as he touches my shoulder.
R: *sigh* it's just... I'm scared... to... you know... to lose him again...
I say quietly.
M: awh... Ri, he might be mad. Really mad. But he'll forgive you eventually. If you will wait longer, he probably won't...
Matty say. And he's right...
R: you're right... should I invite him here tonight ? To celebrate Kiley's birthday ?
M: sure Ri.
Matty say with a smile. But I'm still scared...
M: hey, Riles. Don't worry, it'll be fine.
Matty say as he could read my mind. He hugs me for a few seconds and then he say,
M: we should put the presents in her room, so when she'll wake up she'll see them.
R: yeah.
I say with a smile and we walk the my room to bring the presents.

Riley's POV
It's already 19:47, which means that James supposed to come any minute now. Suddenly I hear a knock on the door.
R: Matty, open the door..
M: why can't you open the door ?
R: well you're closer..
M: oh yeah, in one inch.
Matty say as he rolls his eyes playfully.
M: so are you planning on telling James the truth tonight ?
R: well I guess so... he deserves to know that he has a daughter...
I say as I turn around to open the door. And... I see James. Standing there.
J: you... you left the door open.
Oh no.
