In the spring of my first year at Karasuno high school I met a boy who was like a light in the dark. His starlight locks and blinding smile promised comfort and safety. We became quick friends, with similar interests but opposite personalities. His name was Koushi.
He was my first friend and so I followed him everywhere. I didn't know my admirers envied him and, heck, I didn't know I had admirers at all! I didn't put that much effort into my appearance after all. Now I wish I didn't have admirers at all if I knew they would be petty enough to beat up my best friend because he was a boy instead of approach me directly. But, isn't jealousy what the human race thrives on?
