"Good morning Ms. Rose." Yolanda said stepping inside my bedroom. I sighed and sat up as she cut the lights on. "What are you doing?" I asked. "We are moving you into a better room."

She said. I frowned. "Why?" I asked. She smiled. "Because Mr. Powers would like you to move in closer to him." I raised a brow. "Oh really?" I asked. She nodded as she packed my bags.

"Yes Ma'am, and I see y'all became closer." She said. "What you mean?" She motioned to my neck. I frowned and shot out of my bed and to my mirror. I saw a huge ass hickey plastered on my neck and some on my breasts.

"Damn." I mumbled. I looked down and saw some on my thighs to. Yolanda must've seen my face cause she was laughing. "You've only been here a week and I've never seen this happy in a long time." She said.

"Why is that?" I asked. She sighed. "There's a reason why he isolated himself from the outside world. But it isn't my place to tell you. He's gonna have to." She said. I nodded slowly.

"How's the move?" I looked up and saw Jay standing in the door way. "Good, when did you decide to put me in a different room?" I asked. He shrugged.

"I thought about it and why not? You dont even have windows." He said smiling. I nodded. "True, when you cut the lights off it looks like a dungeon." I said. They both laughed. But I was dead serious.

"Hey I'm hungry-" "Breakfast on the stove." I smiled and walked past him and down the stairs.

Jay

"You look happier these days." Yolanda told me. I sighed. "Yea..I haven't smiled or laughed in a while." "She's rubbing off on you. Maybe she's the one." She said. I shrugged. "I'm not ready to move on just yet."

"But you like her?" She asked. I nodded. "Very much." "Why don't you tell her?" Yolanda said. I sighed.

"Its not that easy, plus how am I supposed to know if she's faking all of this so she can leave?" I asked. "All do respect Mr. Powers...Ion think she is. She came a long way from being here against her will.

I see how she looks at you. She likes you." She said. I was silent. "Its hard to like someone thats holding you captive." "Then let her go, if she truly likes you she'll come back." she said. I shook my head.

"I'm not taking any chances." Yolanda sighed. "Think about it, Sherri would want you to be happy." She said. I was silent watching her walk out the room. I sighed and ran a hand down my face.

Rose

"Okay, this is that I'm talking about." I said walking inside my new room. "You like it?" Jay asked. I nodded. "I love it." I walked inside the walk in closet and almost fainted.

I wiped my hand across the island and jumped on it. Jay walked in and wrapped his arms around my waist. "I was thinking." he started. I raised a brow. "Would you like to have dinner with me..A real dinner."

"Like a date?" I asked. He licked his lips. I smirked and tilted my head to the side. "Yes." I said. He looked up at me surprised. "..Really?" I nodded. "Mhm."

He laughed. "Damn I thought you were about to say no." I smiled and grabbed his face pulling him into a kiss. Its almost like I forgot I was here against my will. But I didn't care.
