Chapta 3 - Bittersweet

Damens P.O.V

I wake up to the sun escaping through the blinds and hitting me on my face, I get up to close the blinds but something caught my eye.  Cassandra she has sprawled across her bed her shirt lifted up a bit. Hey! don't judge I'm a boy. her hair in a cute bun. hmmm, just how will I get her? she has built up those walls up hard. I open the door to my balcony and jump into hers. I knock, but she's still sleeping, It took me four knocks to get her to open up her beautiful eyes and come to me. 

she turned her head to look at me and as soon as she saw me her eye opened wide and she jumped up and ran to me to open her balcony. "what in the holy hell are you doing here?" she whisper-screamed. I just smirked and walked into her room. "u-um j-just s-s-stay there I'll just go and freshen up," she stuttered and ran to the toilet. I chuckled at her cuteness. There was a black book on her nightstand table. I picked it up and flipped to a random page.

I honestly cannot tell anyone about what happened last night. I honestly just want to curl up and cry my eyes out. I told Roxi this morning. I mean how can someone just get a girl pregnant and then break up with her Wait what. oh, I know who Jake that's who. yeah Jake my boyfriend, well ex now  "okay so damen wait hold up what's in yo-

I look up to see Cassandra staring at me in shock while all the color drains from her face. "Cass is this true," I ask her. Her eyes start to water up I go up to her and pull her into a hug. 

"Hey, hey it's okay you don't have to tell me about this," I say quietly. "no sniff I have to sniff tell someone sniff other then Roxi sniff,"  Cassandra says, pulling away. "If you really do want to Cass I honestly don't want to force you," I reply while looking at her. "I just, I don't know what to do Damen like should I keep it or not ugh," Cassandra replies throwing her hand in the air. "Is there anything I could do Cass?" I reply. She looks at me and says "Just don't tell anyone, please," I look at her and sigh. "Of course I won't Cassandra I give you my word," She smiles and says "thank you," I just chuckle. "Now, what are you doing here?" She asks. "I kinda need your help in something Cassandra," Cassandra Nods gesturing me to go on. "Okay so umm you know about the deal I made with Aaron?" I say looking at her "Yep I heard about the whole thing how you were gonna make me like you which by the way isn't happening," She says glaring at me. I chuckle. "yeah yeah. So I was thinking how about we fake date each other for two months because I really don't want to give him one of my cars," I say looking at her.

Silence

"I need some time to think please," Cassandra says looking down.

"Okay sure," 

"Okay now go away I need to get ready for school shoo," She says pushing me towards the balcony. 

Cassandra's POV

My phone buzzes breaking me from my thoughts. I unlock it to see a text from Roxy saying she's coming to pick me up. I quickly get ready and grab my backpack and rush out the door just as Roxy's car pulls up.

"hey girl whats up," Roxi says as I get in the car. "Roxi I need to talk to you," I say. She looks at me and nods "Whats up?" "what if I date Damen?" I ask. "Oh my god Cassandra," I look at her raising an eyebrow. "Look basically Jake and Damen and enemies and if you date damen. oh ho, Jake is gonna want you back so bad," She says as we arrive at the school. "Ahh okay," I say "why?" She askes. "I was just wondering," I say as I get out of the car and head to my class which is phycology. 

During class the door slams open and I come in contact with some certain blue eyes that I never want to see again, yep you guessed it right, Jake. I quickly look down and focus on my work. The chair next to me moves and someone sits on it. "pssst Cassandra I need to talk to you," A voice came from the chair beside me. I look up to meet Jakes' eyes. you've got to be kidding me. "what do you want," I mumble. "I'm sorry for what I did please I want you back," Jake says. Ha! nope. "no Jake you can't just break up with me then decide you want me," I say to him turning angry. "Oh C'mon I'm pretty sure nobody else would want you except me," Jake says smirking. My head snaps up at Jake. "Actually yes there is someone who likes me, I'm dating him and he's way better than you," I say. Now let's just hope Damens offer still stands. "oh really who?" Jake replies as the bell rings. "Just follow me," I say as I run out of the classroom, into the cafeteria and try to find Damen.

 I spot him standing next to the wall. I walk up to him and making sure from the corner of my eye that Jake is following me, oh god let this go as planned. "Hey, Cass whats u- I interrupt him by kissing him. yes, you read right. I break the kiss, turn around to see Jake staring at us in shock but then a smirk comes upon his face "well does he know about the bab- yes I do Jake and unlike you, I'm going to help my girlfriend raise it," Damen says. Putting an arm around my shoulder. Jake opens his mouth then closes it, He looks like a clueless goldfish. Jake turns around and walks away leaving me and damen smirking. "So I take it as a yes to the offer," Damen says smirking at me. "yes- But this is just an act I am never going to like you," I say.

"The feelings mutual,"

Maybe this isn't so bad after all.
