Venus

Crash was acting strange today when he came in the bar for a drink. Weird as fuck because he wasn't smiling like he usually does.

"Crash are you ok there?" I hear Train ask him when he too also notice something is off with him.

"I'm fine. I just got off the phone with Damnation and he's coming home today." Crash says kind of rigid.

"Isn't that a good thing?" I ask in confusion.

"Oh yeah it's Fan-freaking-tastic!" Crash yells and orders a whisky and sloshes it to the back of his throat in a matter of seconds.

"O...k" Me and Train say and give him a wide berth. We left him alone seeming as that he needed it.

"Wait... what about Reece is he staying there or coming home now as well?" I ask Crash.

Crash just shrugs his shoulders. Ok guess he doesn't know then.

I left the bar and walked over to the club house and in the kitchen was Star leaning against the counter in some booty shorts, a black tank top and some black cowgirl boots. It showed off her mocha skin nicely and her brown puffy hair showed off her heart shaped face greatly.

"Star, I..." You know what I'm done trying to sugar coat shit and not hurt her feelings.

"Star, I think it's time we have a conversation." I say while grinding my teeth.

"What?...No I think we're good." Star says and then tried to turn her back on me! Me! Star gets away with murder where it concerns me but I'm not letting it slide today. Not today!

I grabbed her arm and she turned back to me looking shocked that I even touched her.

"Venus! Let me go!" 

I gave her a look and she immediately stopped struggling with me.

"What Venus? I was eating and minding my own business why did you have to disrupt it?"

"We need to have a  discussion about why you are ignoring me and what I said all those months ago. Because I remember saying that so we could keep our friendship intact."

"Venus, no please don't do this to me. Please just let me go and..."

"No..." I say when I see tears start to fill her eyes.

"Baby girl, there is no reason for you to be crying. You know I got you." I tell her like when I used to when she was scared in one of the group homes.

"I already know what you're going to tell me, and that I should get over it and go back to the way things were. But Venus I can't." She says and hangs her head down.

I lift her face up with my finger tips and hold her cheek in my hand.

"Baby Girl, That was never my intention to make you feel like that."

"But you did, make me feel like that. That I wasn't good enough."

"What? You felt like that? But I'm the one who doesn't deserve you."
