"Damnation?! Why keep me all the way out here? It's the city?" I ask him greatly confused. He has been moving me every few weeks but this was the first time it was the city. Maybe for the high population?

"I told you already! Venus sicked his attack dog on us. His name is Grant and he's a finder and let me tell you, he's good but not as good as me." Damnation brags while he kept pulling my hand along to keep up with him.

The city was New York. So heavily populated, Damnation had to keep dragging me after him so he wouldn't lose me in the streets. But like I told him millions of times before I can take care of myself and would be able to find my way back to him but no! He thinks I would leave him. Yeah right! Like I would ever do that, not after what he told me, showed me!

"I'm really ok to follow behind you Damnation, you don't have to keep pulling me along." I say and make him stop in the busy street we was running in. I rubbed my thumb in circles over his hand he got mine in and take my other to put on his cheek and give him a sincere smile.

"Damn, it's ok now to let go." I assure him.

"It might have been only two months ago when we left but I can't go through that again. I can't lose you." Damnation said choked up and I knew he was thinking about how he lost his family before.

"Damn, I'm fine now."

I lean in to kiss him and he immediately calms down. My heart jumped feeling those lips against mine, I never want to be without this man ever in my life.

"I love you Damn, but I got to be able to walk by your side."

He nods and finally releases my hand and I walk ahead and him following.

"Now where are we going? A hotel was to noticeable last time." I ask him genuinely worried we might not have any moves.

"We could if your friend didn't know you so well!" Damnation yells out frustrated and we're back to the yelling.

"I didn't know Mate had a thing on my phone! He's my friend maybe I can talk..."

"Didn't I say no to that before? You cannot go talk with that man. He likes you more than a friend and I would kill him if weren't on the run right now." Damnation better have said sarcastically.

"Damnation! He's my friend and he's tracking us, so what he likes me. We might need his help if we told him why we are doing this..."

I roll my eyes when he gave me look saying he didn't want to talk about it anymore. God he is such a baby!

"You..." I stop my rant before I could even start it when he pulled me by my waist to be closer to him. He kissed me roughly and I just smiled at him afterwards.

"I'm doing this for your friendship, baby if he gives you glance of lust I would kill him. You're mine and I'm the only one who can look at you that way." Damnation whispers in my ear and I shudder.

"This isn't time for one of your jealous moments he could help." I state to him.

Damnation smiles and shakes his head.

"It's not jealousy, I'm territorial."

"I'm not an object." I couldn't believe I was having this conversation right now.

"Baby, you are mine. And that means I own every inch of you. You can call it whatever you want but still at the end of the day. I own you."

"That kind of sounds like a line out of Fifty Shades of Grey?"
