Maybe even I can be lucky once

Another day in my live as an invisible human being started for me like every day starts:My Alarm goes off at 6.15 am and because I'm not really excited for school I force myself out of bed and go downstairs to the kitchen to get my lunch so I can put it in my bag.I don't really like to eat so early so I normally leave without eating anything.So after I packed my lunch I get dressed,for today I chose my favourite dress it is a short black dress that is still covering my knees as well as my shoulders so I won't get in trouble in school.But since it doesn't really matter because no one would notice it anyways I normally don't care what I wear so I always pick what fits my mood.Then I'll go brush my teeth and wash my face and then I'm ready to go to school.

I'm on my way to my music class when I suddenly notice a guy standing in the middle of the Hallway.Since he looked pretty lost I decided to ask him if I could help him because no one else seemed to care about him.So I walk up to him,gather all my courage and ask:"Can I help you?You look a little lost.Are you new here?" and he answered a bit confused as if he was wondering if I was talking to him:"Ehm..actually it would be great if you could show me where the principals office is because I just moved here and I'm supposed to meet the principal first before I go to my new class."Obviously I brought him to the principals office and rushed to class so I wouldn't be late, while thinking about this guy because he really seemed nice and I'm kinda hoping that he's gonna be in some of my classes.Then while Ms.Jefferson was explaining the history of Rap suddenly someone knocked on the door.The door opened and the principal Mr.Stewart came in followed by that guy I ran into this morning.The principal left immediately and left him standing there until Ms.Jefferson noticed that he was still standing there and told him he should tell the class what his name is and where he's from so he started:"Hey everyone I'm Oliver,I'm sixteen years old and I moved here from New Jersey."But no one listened except me so Ms.Jefferson just said:"How about you sit next to Lucy the girl with the black dress and the light brown hair in the last row."He just nodded and smiled in my direction while walking towards me and the only thing I could think about at that moment was: Maybe even I can be lucky once...
