♡Chapter eight- whatever Sadie wants♡
M I L L I E

I woke up to the sound of Maddie calling my name.

"For the last time!" She hollered from the bathroom. "Wake the hell up!"

"I'm up, I'm up" I say as I sit up. I turn on my phone and read the time, '10:43am'. I shrug as I walk into Maddie's bathroom. I grab her brush and put it through my hair.

"So I was thinking," Maddie starts, turning to me. "We should go shopping today, with the girls." I nodded.

I haven't hung out with the girls alone yet. especially Rowan- unless detention counts.

"Okay well, I'll call 'em up, you get ready." Maddie said as she was leaving the bathroom.

"Okay," I said. "I'm ready"
Maddie nodded and we started walking to her car. I jumped into the passenger side and sighed.

"What?" Maddie asked as she pulled out of the drive way. I looked at her quickly then turned my gaze to the window.

"It's just that, what if I can't break his heart because I've gotten attached?"

Maddie sighed keeping her gaze on the road.

"I'm not sure," she said as she pulled up into Sadie's drive way. "You keep quiet about this, Sadie will kill you." She said the last part quietly and quickly seeing that Sadie was walking down the driveway.

As usual, Sadie had her black channel purse and her black sunglasses. Sadie was like a model- she never left her house looking bad.

"Girls!" Sadie cheered as she jumped into the back seat. Maddie nodded and I looked back. "When we pick up Rowan, we should find out wether or not Finn likes Millie!"

I nodded and responded with a 'yes' earning a squeal from Sadie.

"Breaking his heart is going to be so much fun." Sadie said with a devilish grin. I rolled my eyes carful to not let her see. It was like Sadie was going to break his heart. I'm never going to be able to tell her, am I?

"Okay let's go to the salon first!" Rowan said. It seemed like she was excited. She didn't hang around girls that often since she was friends with Finn. They were her group and she was the only girl in that boy group.

As we walked up to the salon to get an appointment, I noticed a pretty water fountain in the corner of the room. As I walked closer to it, I could see that there were coins in it. There was at least $25.00 in coins.

Memories from when I was younger came flooding back. Before Paige and Charlie went off to college, they would always take me to the water fountain near my house. We would go there, eat lunch, then play on the playground until dark. My mum would always give us some spare coins to throw in the fountain and make wishes with.

"Mills," Rowan said sweetly breaking my thoughts. "We're going."

I nodded my head then followed the group to the back of the salon. There was flower wallpaper covering the wall along with baby blue curtains.
