Goodbye

Jacqueline and Jasmine waited at the airport for their parents to say they final goodbyes. Jasmine smiles as she saw her parents. But Jacqueline was disappointed to not find her father with her mother.
"Mija(-daughter) I'm going to miss you please be careful" Jasmine's mom said.
"You do have your pepper spray right?" Her father said. "Papa I don't need it I can handle myself" Jasmine whined.
"What if a boy harasses you? What would you do?" Her dad asked. Jasmine groaned and digged into her purse and pulled out the pepper spray.
"There happy?" Jasmine said sassy. Jacqueline giggled and thought 'thats why I love this girl'
"Honey are you sure your gonna be fine on your own?" Jacqueline's​ mom said. Jacqueline smiled and nodded.
"I'll be fine mama. I just wished dad would be here" Jacqueline said the last part in disappointment.
"I know me too baby but he'll realize what he's missing" Jacqueline's​ mom said putting her hand on Jacqueline shoulder.
"Please make him stop drinking. I tried mom but it didn't work" Jacqueline said remembering what happened that night.
"I'll try baby" Jacqueline's mom said.
"Mama I have to go it's almost time Jasmine we have to go. I love you Mama" Jacqueline​ hugged her mother one more time.
"I love you too Mija" Her mother said.
Jasmine and Jacqueline waved their parents goodbye.
"Thank god we get to leave this town I'ma miss it though" Jasmine smiled at Jacqueline.
"Yea I'ma miss this boring town too" Jacqueline told Jasmine. They placed their bags above their seats and sat down. Jasmine was pretty excited she was already asking Jacqueline if they will find any cute boys. Jacqueline was excited as well. Half of the way Jasmine was already asleep. Jacqueline on the other hand was looking out the window seeing all the pretty clouds. Jacqueline eventually passed out thinking to herself how it would turn out in L.A
