The Hot Seat

Jackie's P.O.V
The sun had already risen. Jane had gotten a fire extinguisher and dropped it on floor causing Jasmine to jump and wake up.
"Good your awake, thought you could use a little sunshine" Jane smirked. I stood behind the curtain and opened it a little bit. The light came in coming towards Jazzy. She looked at her hand and knew she didn't have a day light ring. Jane held it out to Jazzy.
"Lookin' for this?" Jane asked. Jasmine tried to get it but Jane pulled her arm back.
"You know the rules, bad girls don't get nice jewelry" Jane said. I closed the curtain.
"Wow i don't have my ring I'm devastated" Jazzy said looking at both of us and added "and bored can I go back to solitary now?"
"No, I kinda like you in the hot seat" Jane said. "Whenever your ready sis" She added looking at me.
I walked over to the curtain and held them.
"Am I supposed to be afraid?" Jazzy asked.
"You will be. And when are you focus on that fear. It's the key to getting your humanity back" I said.
"Your not gonna burn me"
"You don't think so?" Jane asked.
"No... and even if you do manage to get my emotions back. I will remember all this and I'll hate you both for it"
"Psss worth a risk" Jane shrugged her shoulders. I opened the curtain and the sun light burned her right arm.
"Ugaaahhh!!" She yelled. We left it open until her arm caught on fire. Jane grabbed the extinguisher and stopped the fire. I shut the curtain. This was hard for me. I would never do anything to hurt my best friend.
"Well that feels better huh? How about a little gratitude? Or any human emotion what so ever. And we could stop this" Jane said. Jasmine was breathing heavy and I stood by her. She said something under she breathe. I couldn't make out what she said.
"Didn't quit catch that" Jane said getting down at her level.
"I said... I'm gonna kill you" Jasmine growled.
"Bingo. See! There's a little rage. I figured that would be first emotion to come out of you. I tend to pull that out of people" Jane said straighten up. I got down and said
"Jasmine look at me.." Jasmine turned her head slowly towards me.
"We don't wanna do this okay? You can stop this right now. It's your choice" I said. Jasmine chuckled.
"It's kinda funny actually.. you being the one to pull back the curtain.. i bet a part of you enjoys it since you know... your father never really was in your life and you saw that I had a dad who carried about her daughter so you were jealous..."
Jane had got down to Jazzy'a level next to me and said "Wow that was done right indicative. You see i think now we're breaking through that tough candy shell. And getting into the oooy goooy rich center of your humanity" Jane smiled. "That's good.. I think we should shine some light on the subject" Jane said turning her head towards me. I looked back at her. I stood up and walk behind the curtain and held it.
"Let me guess this gonna hurt you a lot more than it hurts me" Jasmine said looking at me.
"Look I know it's tough after all your afraid to face the guilt that you feel if you turn emotions back on... the only way we can help you is to make the alternative hurt even worse" I ripped the curtain open and her face and arms and legs were burning.
"Ahhhh!!" She screamed. I couldn't watch it. I shut the curtain and she was gasping. Her face and arms were healing back.
"Your gonna thank me for this" Jane said. I walked over to Jane and stood next to her. "After you turn it back on you'll realize that life without emotions blew" Jane added.
"You know what else blew? Acting like I liked you. Going everyday putting up with your bullshit and bitchy attitude. I remember how annoying it was and you looked just like the person I hate and how she always wanted the spot light" Jasmine looked at Jane then at me. "So go ahead keep trying to get old me back. Who knows maybe I'll just disappear" Jasmine ripped out of the chair and ripped the curtains open. Making her catch on fire. Jane grabbed the fire extinguisher and I pushed Jasmine away from the sun light while Jane put out the fire. Jasmine coughed and laughed.
"I am the girl who Grayson loves. You wouldn't do anything to actually hurt me you just proofed that. You knew it was break Grayson's little heart" Jasmine laughed. We locked her back into the cellar and sighed. I filled up the cup of bourbon.
'Can I just rip her heart out!?' Jane thought.
"No! That's my best friend I know she's still in there" I said taking a sip.
"You know there's a ring that brings people back to life?" Jane said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yep" She put her finger against her lips telling me to stay quiet and pulled out a ring with a black diamond on it.
'I've got an idea' Jane said.
Grayson's P.O.V
"Ethan I can't take it I have to see her!" I said grabbing the keys and his jacket.
"No she's not herself" Ethan said blocking the door. I pushed him out of the way and I ran to the car and drove off to their secret house. It was night time already. I parked a few minutes away from the house. Jackie walked towards me and said.
"What the hell are you doing here?" She asked.
"I want to see her"
"But you do know she's off human mode right?" Jane popped up.
"I don't care I just have to see her" I said. Jane gasped.
"What?" Jackie asked.
"I just thought of a perfect idea but it includes Grayson dying for a few seconds and then coming back" Jane said giving him the ring. "Keep it on" She added.
"How do we know if it works" Jackie asked.
"I've seen it work and I stole it. it's a win win" Jane said.
"Okay" Jackie said. Jane told me the plan and they went back inside. They said they would text me when to come out of my car. So I waited. For 10 minutes and my phone went off. I saw that Jackie texted me and I got off of the car and left the head lights and Jasmine was looking around. She ran towards me and gave me a smile.
"Hey Grayson" She said.
"Jasmine.." i whispered.
"I'm hungry I want to take a sip" I saw the veins pop out under Jasmine's eyes and her eyes were black.
"No no you don't wanna do that" I said.
"Why?" She asked.
"Because I'm your boyfriend and I love you" i said backing away.
"I know" she said sweetly i saw the veins and disappear and her eyes went back to normal. "But I'm still hungry" She said and her eyes came back evil. She bit my neck and I screamed. I blacked out.
Jasmine's P.O.V
"Mmm" I said as he fell to the ground. He groaned and opened his eyes. "Oh come on a barely drained an artery.... come on get up I'm hungry. My heads fuzzy. I can't think straight I need more" I said with a calm voice.
"Jasmine stop" Grayson said weakly. I bend down.
"But your so good..." I grabbed him the collar and pulled him up to his feet. Someone pushed me away from Grayson and he fell back against his car.
"Jasmine stop!" Jackie said.
"Let go of me!" I said.
"Enough" Jane said grabbing Grayson and pulling him up to his feet. "You are acting like a spoiled brat you know that?" Jane held Grayson in front of her. "You think that we can't punish you.. maybe not but I can sure punish him"
"Jasmine..." Grayson said weakly.
"Seriously you think-" Jane cut me off by saying.
"Shut up! Turn your emotions back on Jasmine or so help me god I will give you something to be sad about. I will kill him here right in front of you"
"Jane" Jackie warned her.
"Don't "Jane" me. She doesn't love anyone. Go ahead prove it and if I'm wrong. What difference does it make. He's just lover boy" Jane pushed Grayson down to his knees. I looked at Grayson then back at Jane.
"Your bluffing" I said. Seconds later Jane snapped his neck and I gasped. I walked over to Grayson's lifeless body. I teared up. I knew he was dead.
"What about now? You feel anything now? You angry because I turned your boyfriend into road kill?" Jane asked. I covered my mouth and the tears fell down my cheeks. "Or are you sad cuz the guy that everyone loved is just a bag of bones? Remember when you first met him? Huh warm heart, big goofy smiles, you had an eternity planned out with him" Jane said. I shook my head in shock. All of my emotions started crashing in all at once. Jane bent down and grabbed Grayson's hand and I saw that he had a ring. "It's a good idea that he's wearing that ring I was talking about earlier" I sighed in relief and I got down on my knees and pulled him towards me.
"Oh my god Grayson" I cried and I smoothed his hair.
"You feel that weight lifting off your chest?" I looked at Jane "that's joy because your boyfriend isn't dead that's an emotion Jasmine... thats humanity" She added. I cried more I did feel that weight off my chest and she was right my humanity switch was on again.
