The boy's song "Candy Girl" was doing amazing on the billboard charts. They topped Michael Jackson and where constantly doing shows and interviews. Things were even going great for Amira. Her single "Leave Me Lonely" was climbing the charts fast and she couldn't be happier. The next thing for the group and the solo act to do was put out their debut album.

The boys were in the middle of taking the pictures for the album/record cover for their hit song Candy Girl and things were not going well.

"Maurice, which one of them are the lead singer" The photographer

"All of us are lead singers" Michael answered

"Ralph is the lead singer."Maurice answered

"Ralph. Which one is Ralph" The photographer asked

"The one in the white jacket" Maurice said

"Oh Nice" The photographer said taking another picture before going to switch around the positions the boys were in. "Ralph, I need you to stand right over here next to the young lady. You with the hat, you go right on the other side of the young lady. You gotta move over. Perfect, nice" He said satisfied with his work

"What about us" Ricky asked

"It doesn't matter. You're perfect. It looks excellent. Stay right there" He said grabbing his camera to take a picture of his masterpiece. "Nice. Big smiles. Alright the other half of you don't smile. Excellent."

After that photo shoot, the boys had their first performance at a night club. Even though they were young kids they still had the appeal to the older audience. Older artist who were usually the headlining acts were becoming intimidated and refused be around said boys.

"Why'd he play us like that" Ronnie asked his uncle after seeing the way the older artist, Kirtis Blow, reacted when they walked in

"Imma tell y'all exactly why. Cause y'all a threat now." Brooke answered

"What does that mean strokes" Bobby asked

"Billboard" Brooke said grabbing a paper nearby "On the Billboard, this how you know how people records are doing. For this week Michael is #2 and you guys are #1"

The boys became excited after hearing that. None of them expected to get this far in the game but they were topping artist like Michael Jackson.

"...For them boys all the way from Boston, Give it up, Make some noise for New Edition." The announcer said and the crown went wild.

"That was amazing guys." Bobby said excited that he'd finally reached big heights in his 'career'

It was practically Bobby's decision to put the group together and he did and now they were super stars.

"It really was."

"We're about to head back to Boston." Brooke said getting the kids on the 'tour bus'. The boys immediately grabbed a seat. Mike and Ronnie ended up sitting next to each other and having their own conversation that somehow got to Amira, the young girl who'd been on Mike's mind since he'd met her.

"So, what's up with you and my sister" Ronnie asked

"We're just hanging out. She's a cool girl" Mike answered

Everything seemed to be coming together for the boys. The press the boys were getting from their hit record "Candy Girl" was very help in leading them to their first tour as soon as school let out. The boys were happy and they were enjoying themselves. How many other 11 and 12 year olds could say that they were traveling the world. The parents on the other hand were focused on one thing and it hadn't come. Money was now the issue. The boys were touring and everything else but there was no money coming in from it, which bothered the parents. Some more than others. As a result, Ricky and Bobby's mothers met Brooke in the front of his apartment.
