Like a flamingo among sparrows
She stands to the side
They all wear their masks
To hide
They hide from reality
From themselves
Who they are
She stands up and proudly bears her scars
Is she wrong for disliking what she sees?
They act like nothings wrong
Like they have nothing to hide
But they all know the meaning of the looks
In each ones eyes
So they go on
Telling stories
Of their fairytale life thus far
And she stands apart
Just watching
As they all play their part
