Chapter 1
😄Gingerkit had a destiny.Her destiny was different from others.Gingerkit was a kittypet named Pepper.Pepper always loved the wild but never had the guts to pass the fence in her garden.When Pepper's owner died she left the old house and met Featherwhisker.Featherwhisker told Pepper about the clans and asked if she wanted to join.Pepper accepted the offer and got the name Gingerkit.Moonfeather was Featherwhisker's sister who just had kits that were the same age as Gingerkit,so Moonfeather took her in.Moonfeather was the most caring mother that Gingerkit could of ever had.Gingerkit's new littermates where all tortoiseshells except for 1 named Hazelkit.Hazelkit was a ginger cat like Gingerkit.Gingerkit was happy with her new home and was learning the warrior code very fast.
This was the day that Gingerkit would become a apprentice." By naming apprentices we show that featherclan will survive and remain strong.Gingerkit you have reached 6moons and you are ready to be an apprentice.From now on you will be known as gingerpaw,Featherwhisker you are ready for an apprentice,you will mentor Gingerpaw."Sunstar said loudly so his fellow clanmates could hear him.Gingerpaw's littermates were named Hazelpaw,Spottedpaw,and Berrypaw.Hazelpaw's mentor,Smallheart,was taking him to the lake and Featherwhisker asked if they could join them.Smallheart said yes,so the 4 cats were on there way.

"The lake is very large"said Hazelpaw."Yes,this lake is shared by all the clans"Smallheart announced.The lake smelled like reeds and fish.Three fish jumped,and Featherwhisker had the idea to teach the young apprentices how to hunt fish."Let's hunt!"Featherwhisker said cheerfully.Hazelpaw sniffed around and finally said"I smell mice"."You're correct,that is mice,but today we are going to show you 2 the territory and how to hunt fish"Smallheart said."When will we learn how to hunt mice?"Gingerpaw asked.Featherwhisker smiled with joy in her heart.*Gingerpaw has a lot of energy and is very excited about learning,Featherwhisker whispered so no one could hear her.

Moonfeather smiled when Hazelpaw and Gingerpaw came back to camp with smiles on their faces."How was your first day as an apprentice?"Moonfeather asked."It was great!"I said."Well that's great!"Moonfeather said happily.moonfeather licked her kits and walked over to Featherwhisker."Gingerpaw looks just like your kit Gingerkit that was a two-leg took"Featherwhisker said."I know,she has a white paw like my kit"said Moonfeather." She is your kit!"Featherwhisker said very annoyed."You're right,I'll go tell her"said Moonfeather.
*Still Gingerpaw's perspective*
Moonfeather walked over to Gingerpaw."Gingerpaw I need a word with you,follow me"Moonfeather said kindly."Am I in trouble?"I asked."No,there is something I must tell you.I had a fourth kit named Gingerkit,but a two-leg took her,and that kit was you"said Moonfeather."Even though I loved my two-leg,I am happy to be back where I belong"I said.

It has been a moon since Gingerpaw became an apprentice."Today we will learn battle traing"Featherwhisker announced to Gingerpaw and Spottedpaw."yay!"the 2 apprentices screamed."first we will learn the move back-kick,judge your opponent's distance from you carefully,then lash out your back legs"Spottedpaw's mentor,yelloweyes,announced."Gingerpaw try it on Spottedpaw"Featherwhisker commanded."ok"I said.Gingerpaw did the move perfectly."good job Gingerpaw!"Spottedpaw screamed."Spottedpaw try the move on Gingerpaw"Featherwhisker commanded."I'll do my best"said Spottedpaw.Spottedpaw didn't succeed."I'm sure you'll get it next time!"Gingerpaw said trying to cheer her sister up."I hope so"said Spottedpaw."the next move we will learn is play dead.When you are pinned down,stop struggling and go limp.Your opponent will think you were defeated and will stop gripping you,then you push yourself up explosively."yelloweyes announced to the 2 apprentices.After learning a few moves the 4 cats went back to camp.

Berrypaw was training to be a medicine cat and already got his full name,berryfoot.Heatherleaf was giving poppykit some lavender for her fever.Berryfoot was getting fresh-kill from the pile."hi berryfoot"I said."hi I should get going,poppykit has a fever"Berryfoot said nicely."Oh,you have a cut Spottedpaw come with me"Berryfoot said when he saw Spottedpaw's cut on her paw."Bye Gingerpaw"Spottedpaw said while following Berryfoot.
The medicine cat,Heatherleaf,ran out of the medicine cat den."Applefur,Sunstar has greencough and he is on his last life!"Heatherleaf said with fear in her eyes."Can you .heal him,Heatherleaf?"Applefur said with worry and fear in his voice
