LAST CHAPTER! DUN DUN DUN. Yes, I'm happy.

______________

WHAT WAS THIS SITUATION? Ixora stared blankly at the large group of girls circling in front of her. Liam was right beside her, and he was equally astounded. They came to school together today, but were suddenly stopped by the girls.

"What's wrong...?" Since the girls didn't say a thing and instead eyed the two of them wearily, Ixora couldn't stand still, so she initiated. A few familiar faces that went to find her the previous time were seen in the crowd of girls. Did she possibly steal someone else's boyfriend again, thanks to the potion?

"We heard about you," A girl with curly blonde hair frowned, "and your love potion."

Ixora and Liam were too shocked for words. Their mouths hung agape and for a few milliseconds, they couldn't think of anything to say.

"What do you mean by 'love potion'?" Liam began, smiling at the girls as sweet as he could manage.

"Don't you try to cover it up. Someone told us about it, and it made sense. No wonder the entire school of guys were flocking over you!" Curly blonde haired pointed sharply at Ixora and spat. The other girls started agreeing with her, throwing in rude comments about Ixora. "You, of all girls!" "It's impossible!" "You're so plain!" "You stole my boyfriend because of your potion!"

Ixora stared at the ground silently, not knowing what to say. She couldn't deny it after all; it was true the entire school's population of boys chased after her every day thanks to the potion. She bit her lip. The feeling of regret surged to her, and she really prayed for the love potion's magic to disappear. She knew she was too greedy. She shouldn't have drank the potion. It was an unrealistic dream- a nightmare, which once seemed to be a perfect reality to Ixora, that became true. And in the end, she didn't manage to find a boyfriend either. Her eyes felt hot and her vision blurred, but she fought her tears back.

Liam couldn't stand it anymore. He squeezed Ixora's hand and once again, he slipped his hand into hers.

"If that love potion's magic had really worked," Liam raised their interlocked fingers to the girls, "why hadn't it worked on me?"

The girls gasped. They started shouting profanities at him. "It did work on you! You're under the potion's spell!" They screamed and got a big fuss about what he said.

"It's true," Liam said, calm and composed. "Observe the guys' eyes. They're full of hearts. But look at mine, is mine normal?" He pointed at his eyes and smiled at the girls. They all stared at him immediately, and he silently gulped because he wasn't used to the attention. Moreover, the girls' killer stares were drilling into him.

The girls seemed to be convinced slightly. They started talking among themselves while not forgetting to point out this anomaly.

"Well then, we gotta run," He brought the other hand to cover Ixora's teary face as he continue holding her hand, "You ruined our couple time alone.", leaving the girls gasping again, this time louder.

Ixora and Liam walked to the rooftop and finally, Ixora decided to let her tears flow. She knew it was embarrassing to let him see her cry, but she couldn't stand it anymore. She wanted to. Liam patted her head softly, allowing her to feel even warmer, so she cried even more.
