"Grace." I heard a familiar voice sing my name. I just groaned not wanting to wake up.
"Grace! Alice is here." Op that was my mother yelling. Once I heard Alice was here, I ran out my plain white room, down the stairs, passed the living room, into the kitchen, and I finally made it to the door. I squealed in joy. I haven't seen Alice in two days and that seems like forever.
"Gurl... Your breath stinks." I giggled knowing it did. I mean I don't blame her, I just woke up.
"What are you doing here so early?" I usually wake up around 8 to eat breakfast in the summer.
"Early? Honey, it's 11:47."
"Is not!" I whined.
"Is too." She held up her Samsung galaxy s3 and smirked. Wow. It really was 11;47.
"Oh, you girls are silly." My mom walked in our conversation.
"But, what are you doing here," I thought that sounded rude so I quickly corrected myself "Not in a bad way cause I miss you I'm just wondering." She gives me an evil smile.
"Well, I thought we needed to go shopping for school outfits." I groaned. I loved shopping don't get me wrong but, shopping with Alice is hell. She takes an hour just looking for socks! Okay, so I'm exaggerating but, she takes forever.
"Pretty please! I'm buying you clothes here!" I pouted knowing there's no way out of this.
"Honey, you should go! Just come back home before midnight." My mom was still easdropping or something.
"Mom, I haven't even agreed to go." Alice gave me her puppy eyes. "You know that doesn't work on me.." I rolled my eyes knowing she wouldn't stop until I said yes.
"Fine, I'll go!"
"Thank you thank you thank you." She cried out.
"I'm gonna go change. I'll only be 10 minutes." She hated waiting as much as I did but, she takes years to do everything.
I run into my room and look for an outfit. I pulled out my royal purple long sleeved shirt with a gold heart in the middle. I grabbed my black leggings out and purple vans. I didn't take showers in the mornings because, I would always miss the bus or something. I only showers at night. I combed my hair knowing I wouldn't take forever. An advantage for having straight hair🙌 I added my mascara to make my eyes pop out. I put a light deep pink lipstick and strawberry perfume. That all took 15 minutes.
I ran down the stairs with my phone.
"I'm ready." I grabbed a piece of toast with butter and ran out to the car. Alice had a black Jeep. It was really clean surprisingly. I don't get one till I'm 17. I'm 16 now.
Alice steps into the car for what seems like forever. I plug my phone into her cable thing for AUX. I hate the radio. They always replay the same stuff over and over again. I pressed the random button not really caring what song it was. The A Team by Ed Sheran came on. We sang along the whole ride.
'White lips pale face breathing in the snow flakes burned thumbs sour taste...' The whole ride was full of singing and laughing. I loved Alice as a friend.
We finally got to the outdoor mall. I loved the warm breeze hit my face. I knew this breeze would be over in a couple months and turn into snow.
We walked into the entrance and looked around stores.
"What store?" I asked emotionless.
"Umm.. Hot topic? I love there backpacks there! And then we'll look around for clothes!" There backpacks were pretty nice.
