Sheeta fell through the air like a rock, screaming for help. With the air as cold as it was, and how high the airship was, Sheeta passed out after a time, still free-falling, not quite in view of the earth below her. She fell head-first through the sky, until suddenly her necklace started to glow a bright blue, and Sheeta slowed down. Her body lay at a horizontal position now, and her eyes remained closed. Instead of a free fall, Sheeta slowly descended down to earth.

Instead of the white markings that marked Sheeta's crystal, the white turned to blue, burned as bright as a star, saving Sheeta's life. Her braids flew about her as the bright lights of the city finally came into view.

The town had two main roads, each crisscrossing each other to make four roads. There were many houses along each side of the main roads, making an 'x' shape. There was some houses that were not in this 'x', you see. In fact, there was a mining company just out of town.

An orphan boy with dark brown hair coming to just below his ears, had a bright yellow hat covering his head and he wore a white long sleeve with a white tank top underneath with an orange vest covering it. He had oil-stained jeans and had dark brown combat boots covering his bare feet, the soles, nearly gone.

He was about the age of 15, and worked at the mining company. His name, Pazu. (pronounced Pot-sue)

The town was quiet, for it was in the middle of the night. Some townsfolk are out, buying bread and meatballs at the bakery. Pazu, one of them.

People are milling about the bakery, mumbling to one another, when Pazu stepped up in line. Him, being at least a head shorter than everyone else.

Pazu puts his opened canteen onto the counter,

"I need some meatballs for the Boss please." He said putting one hand on his hip.

"Alright." The worker said, taking the canteen and filling it with meatballs.

"You're working late tonight, Pazu." He said closing the canteen shut.

"Yeah." Pazu chuckles half heartedly.

"Well, things are really busy for a change." Pazu dropped his coins onto the counter, said his thanks, and headed to the exit.

Pazu climbed up the hill leading away from the town. Standing atop it, he felt invincible. But something caught him by surprise.

Pazu's eyes widened, and he gasped.
"Huh?"

From a far off distance, just above the mining company, is a bright blue light. A blue light as bright as a star, slowly made its descend over the mining co.
Pazu stared at the blue light for a moment.

"What is that?" He sprinted towards it. The closer he got, the more curious. "It looks like a body!" Pazu ran faster, grunting as he jumped over rocks, and a broken railroad track to get there.

Pazu ran to where the body was falling, right above a hole that the mining co. dug. The body was falling right into it.

"Whoa!" Pazu said nearly falling in himself.

He ran to where there was a beam stretching out to the middle of the hole where a wheel was attached. Its purpose- to bring miners up from below.

Pazu set his canteen of meatballs down on the ground, then made his way across the beam to the platform at the end, next to the wheel.

The body, a girl it seemed, floated down right in front of Pazu, and he held out his arms. She barely touched his hands, merely hovering in place, until slowly, the blue light of her pendant slowly went out. Gravity returned to normal and the girl fell.

Pazu, his arms already beneath her, caught her. She was still unconscious, as Pazu struggled to carry her to the platform, where he gently laid her down.
