Outside, the fight had begun.
"Why don't you just get out of our way." Bushy beard threatened.
"Why don't you just try and make me?" The Boss snapped as his wife, Okami comes to stand outside the door with her frying pan.
"Maybe I will." Bushy Beard stepped forward taking off his hat.
A crowd gathered.
The punches were thrown. In the stomach, in the face, even in their special places. It was just the two fighting, until the other men of the town felt the need to join in. Soon enough, everyone was punching anybody they could get their hands on, not caring who or what they hit.
Meanwhile, the automobile was speeding toward the town, carrying two more pirates, and Dola.
One of the pirates pulled the automobile to a screeching stop, and Dola pulled out her telescope.
"Whoa." She said eyeing the fight. Then, she looked beyond it. Dola saw various lines of railroad tracks that twisted this way and that within the canyon. The tracks were up high, going over different holes that led to the mine- none of them connected to solid ground.
They were so small Dola almost missed them, but there they were. Two little figures running along the road.
"They're heading to the railroad tracks!" Dola shouted, as she snapped her telescope shut. "Let's move it!"
The pirate floors it.
Sheeta followed Pazu, finally making it to the tracks as a slow train with four empty mining carts, approached.
Pazu ran onto the tracks, waving his arms in the air and shouting, "Hey! Hey! HEY!"
The train slowed down a bit and Pazu jumped out of the way, but the train continued to move forward.
"We're gonna jump on, Sheeta!" Pazu yelled to be heard over the roaring engine. He came up beside her.
"Okay." She said and started to jog next to Pazu. He helped her get a good hold, and she grunted as she struggled to keep the hold.
"That's it!" Pazu assured her as he hopped on beside her.
They pulled themselves into the first empty mining cart.
"Hey, Pazu." The conductor said, glancing back at them. The conductor has a pale green shirt with overalls. He is very skinny and has no facial hair, or hair on his head.
"Who's your friend 'dere." He asked pointing at Sheeta.
"Her name is Sheeta." Pazu shouted. "Pirates are after us!"
