I woke up, looking around at my surroundings. This isn't my room, where am I? I asked myself. Then I remembered.
It was our first day in L.A. The first thing I did was look at the veiw, since I couldn't it well last night.
"I hope the sun sets right over the mountains." My mom said, joining me at the window. I silently agreed. It would be beautiful and it would make a really pretty picture. "Is Hayley still asleep?" My mom asked. I looked over and saw she was half asleep, half awake.
"Half and half." I replied.
"Well wake her up, we're going to eat breakfast, then get dressed, then go to the peir. It's going to be fun!" My mother told me. She did a thumbs up when she said 'fun'. Mom's can be so embarrassing.

After I woke Hayley fully up, ate breakfast, and got dressed, we went to the pier. First, we did some preshandstands and took some pictures. Hayley started doing her own thing after that, so I went on a 'beam' (really I think it was just something for skateboards, but I used it for a beam) and did some preshandstands on it. It made me mad how Brataley fans say we pay no attention to Hayley. We love Hayley so much, she just doesn't like being the center of attention. I don't mind it, well, I don't want to sound bratty, but I like the attention. Sometimes it embarrasses me, but for vlogs or singing and such, I love it. I'm not saying I want to be an Ariana Grande though. And I only love it if my family is supporting me, which they always are. After I was done on the 'beam', I went on the rings. The rings were one of my favorites. They were like monkey bars, but you had to swing to get to them. They were so far apart my dad had to swing me to the next one. I went back and forth two times.
"Annie! Let's play chase the wave!" Hayley called to me. Chase the wave is a game Hayley and I created. Your really weren't chasing the waves. The waves were chasing you. You stand in the water and water for a wave to come. When a wave comes, you have to run away from it. The goal was not to get wet.
"Ok." I called back to her. I ran towards the water where Hayley was standing. Right when I got to the water, a wave came. Hayley and I ran backwards, away from the wave. About ten minutes in the game, Hayley fell in. I stared at her in shock. My mom came running to make sure she was ok. When Hayley stood up- giving us a thumbs up- I started laughing.
"Hayley would you like to explain what happened?" My mom asked. She was vlogging, so Hayley would be explaining to the viewers.
"I fell in." Hayley said laughing.
"You have a swimsuit on underneath, right?" My mom asked her.
"Yep." She replied.
"Then take the clothes off and Daddy and I will find some sun to lay them in."
"Ok." Hayley did as she was told and handed Daddy her clothes.
"Great job Hayley." I replied, trying to sound mean, yet playful. Hayley smiled.
"I know, it was kinda amading." Hayley said with a laugh. Her saying 'amading' brought good memories of Caleb back. I smiled to myself.
"Let's play some more!" Hayley said, silently challenging me to a race to the water.
"Ok. One, two, three. Go!" Hayley and I raced to the water. I won.
"Good job." I told her. She was really close behind me. If she was the same hight as me, I think she would've won.
I decided to take my clothes of- since I was also in a bathing suit- incase I got wet like Hayley.
Once Hayley and I got tired of playing, 'chase the wave', we decided to go back to the hotel and go to the pool.
