Josie woke the next morning feeling odd. Her hair felt softer, her body lighter, her fabric was more sensitive on her skin. Josie stretched her muscles, rolling to face the male who was holding her and gasped at the glitter that covered the bed. Fin! How had she gotten this much glitter on the bed from just sitting by Boone? How odd.

Sinclair was still sleeping beside her and Josie took this time to study him shamelessly. The sharp curves of jawline had her fingers itching to run down his cheek. His hair was pulled back from his face, but Josie still wanted to run her fingers through them. She blushed when she realized that his hands were cupping her bum.

She struggled to slide from his grasp; his grip merely tightened as he groaned and pulled her tighter to him. "Stop moving Josephine."

She didn't relent, and Sinclair opened a murky blue eye to glare at her. "Sinclair I made a mess. There's glitter everywhere."

Sinclair rose quickly and looked around. His lips quirked at the corner and Josie cocked her head, "What?"

"Nothing I can be one hundred percent sure of now." He said, and Josie sighed as he rose from his seat and grabbed some clothing from his closet. "Stay in bed as long as you'd like, doe. I'll be back in a few moments."

Josephine watched him leave before relaxing slightly. Drawing her knees to her chest, she patted the glitter from her skin. Josie sat there for a while as she twiddled her thumbs. Dressing quickly in some blue overalls that were faded and various colored holes that had been patched over holes from wear and tear. Finding her white tanktop, she pushed it on and padded barefoot to the window and peered out.

It was a view over the courtyard. Josie's eyes trailed over the labyrinth again; the gates were wide open now. The high hedges were hiding an enchanted looking maze that had Josie cocking her head and glancing over her shoulder towards the bathroom Sinclair had disappeared within.

She'll probably be yelled at for doing this, but Josie was very curious. She'd always been curious, but today she felt confident enough to investigate.

Moving quickly Josie got lost in the massive castle, but with the help of some servants, Josie was lead to the main floor where she stumbled upon a door that leads to the courtyard. Creeping towards the labyrinth, Josie leaned back to assess it's massive size.

For something that is top secret it really wasn't well hidden and very easily accessible. Josie stepped towards it, but a voice had her stopping in her tracks.

"I wouldn't go in there if I were you." Fin's sing-song voice came, and Josie jumped, turning to look at him.

Fin's hair was almost blue in the sunlight; it was so dark black. His horns were decked with chains and more red glitter. He simply wore an oversized fashionably ripped shirt and leather pants. He was leaning against a stone statue.

"I-I..." Josie stuttered, her cheeks red. "What's in there?"

"If Alpha Sinclair didn't say I won't say." Fin chided and leaned in, "I'm almost assuming he specifically told you to stay away."

Josephine pouted lightly as she glanced over her shoulder, pale blond hair flipping over her shoulder with the movement. Staring at the ominous hedges, she pursed her lips. "I want to find out what's in there."

"I'm not telling you that you can't find out. I'm telling you that I'll have no participation in you finding out and I refuse to let you go into that horrid maze. It's quite barbaric honestly," Fin rolled his eyes.

"How can I find out if I can't go in there?"

"Beats me," Fin shrugged his shoulder. "But with your lineage, fI'm sure you'll find out."
