The room was dark and it smelled like the Library but also of roses. And like he saw before, the carpet was gray, and the silver-black wardrobe. But there was also a bed that was like Princey's but was black and had a white throw blanket, and there was roses all over the room.
On the desk, that was a glossy black, there was a jewelry box with the patterns of roses on the lid. Anxiety opened it to find that there were more roses, making it seem that the theme was red, black, and silver/white/gray.
Anxiety made his way to the far corner and saw dead roses that have turned a dark wine red by age. He picked one up in a delicate manner, but it broke into small pieces. What a shame... He thought and frowned at the bundle of dead roses. Wondering how they got into the corner. Maybe the Trait got mad and threw them against the wall and forgot about them, Anxiety gave himself an explanation.
Then something caught his eye, a hand mirror on the desk. He picked it up gently and looked at it with awe and fascination. It was round and silver and decorated with roses. It reminded him of the All-Knowing mirror from Beauty & the Beast. Anxiety made a face when he thought about that reference. Great, I'm turning into Princey...but I always did love Disney movies. Heh.
Then, he remembered what the woman in his dream had said: "Break the mirror."
Anxiety let out a puff out of air and turned the mirror in its side and held it close to the edge of the desk. He lifted it slowly and paused for a second. I'm doing this to know where I came from... I'm doing this to know where I came from... He repeatedly said that in his mind. I don't want to hurt Thomas, but I have do find out where I came from.
Anxiety then hit the side of the mirror onto the desk, making break into million of shards of glass and falling on to the carpet below. He let out a breath, not knowing he was holding his breath, and put the mirror back and waited.
Nothing happened. So he left the room, with out looking back but with a lot of disappointment. Maybe we were just created for Thomas, maybe we really don't have a past. Anxiety thought as he walked into the living room with the rest of the Traits. Maybe we just exist without any meaning but helping Thomas. He sat down on the cobalt blue couch and covered himself with a light gray throw blanket. Just maybe...
Little did he know that when he left, the shards of glass began to vibrate and glow a eerie red color. Then the pieces flew into the air and connected, making the form of a human.
A wicked smile appeared on the creation's lips. Hair grew from it's scalp and eyes began to glow a dark brown. Once the form was complete, it hissed two words that would bring destruction in the Whole's, which was Thomas, mind.
