"Good morning, sleeping beauty."
I blinked, as my eyes got used to the now dim classroom. Lena was sitting next to me, with her legs pulled up to her chest. The fact that her phone was horizontal might suggest that she was playing clash of clans. A game that she and Dan are obsessed with. Sadly, I don't really want to try it out because I know I will never be as good as them.
I glanced around the room, there was only two of us, "Ugh. What time is it?"
Without looking up, she replied, "About five."
I jumped up a little, "Where're the others? How bout doing homework together?"
"They already went home. Don't worry about it, we can always do it tomorrow after school or during the weekends. It's due next week anyways."
I let my head sink back on the table for a moment before I sat back up. When I reached for my bad that was hung on my chair, I realized that there was a cardigan pulled across my shoulders.
I took my bag from the chair, the cardigan looked strangely familiar, "Do you know who's cardigan it belongs to?"
"Beats me."
I folded the cardigan, maybe I can bring it back to school tomorrow and ask if it belongs to anyone, "Were you waiting for me this whole time?"
"Nah," She closed her phone and stood up to me, "Mr. Dyer was here before Emma, Dan and I came to our club activities."
I noticed when she mentioned him, she looked away. I tried to ignore that since it probably was no big deal.
"Let's go."
Though after Lena said that, she began looking at her phone most of the time. Whenever I tried to look at what she was looking for her phone, she moved away. It was only when we arrived the bus station when I asked her what she was hiding from me.
"Lena, give me your phone."
Lena flushed, "Um, Alivia. Why is that you suddenly ask that?"
I looked at Lena, and rolled my eyes, "I'm not dumb Lena, I know that you are hiding something from me. I won't be mad if you show me."
Lena sighed and showed me her phone, "Fine."
It was a picture of me, sleeping. It was a picture of me sleeping on the desk just a few moments ago. My head rested on my folded arms. The grey cardigan was thrown over me. Locks of my hair were all over the place since I took off my hair tie after gym class. Strands of my light ash brown hair were spread across the table. My eyes were closed. Their was a faint flush under on top of my cheeks and my lips were slightly parted. The red backpack that I had was slung across the chair. It would have just seemed like a picture of me sleeping, except for the fact that my homeroom teacher, Elliott was sitting on a chair pulled out next to me. His head propped up by one on his arms that was against the table. His green tie was resting across the table. The fingers of his left hand was tangled with a lock of my hair, he seemed to be toying with it unintentionally. The sun was still barely there, and because the curtains were put to the side, it casted a soft, warm glow on his skin. The way the light reflected against Elliott's eyes made them look nearly transparent. The edges of his lips were slightly curled.
"What."
Lena exploded, "I know right! Mr. Dyer looks so hawt in this picture!"
She kept on babbling on while I rubbed my reddening cheeks, "How did you take this picture?"
"Well," Lena explained, "We couldn't find you at the library, so you were probably still in the classroom. The hallway was extremely quiet, and we thought it was weird. When we went up to the classroom. We noticed you two right there. As a Official Matthew Dyer fangirl, I couldn't help but snap a picture before walking in the classroom. Can't wait for show it to the girls in the fang––"
