Chapter 1.

His amazing shiny black hair in the sun as me and Kenzie run behind him for gym. "Teehee" Kenzie whispered to me. It's what we do when we see one of our crushes. I was so sad I knew I wouldn't have a chance to be Braydon's girlfriend. "Come on you should talk to him!" She said, "come on! I will if you talk to.." then I whispered, "Jake" she looked if she had seen a spider on my face. "Dude! Don't even say his name, I like him but I don't want anyone to find out."

     We ran a while ahead and I slowed behind Jake to make her feel good. "Really?" She asked me. "Yes just for you" I replied. Then she ran right around to his side because he was walking. "Hi Jake." I heard her say as she slowed down. "Hey?" He said back, he was confused because they have never talked before and he was popular kinda. He was walking alone though because all of his friends were running. "What did you want?" He asked her. " well I seen you walking alone so I thought I should kinda just talk to you because.." she started getting loud so she could make sure I could here her, " I need new friends!" "Oh? Well if you want we can hang out at lunch and get to know each other. I need new friends too honestly."

      I honestly could not believe what just happened. She would never do something like that, but she did and I know she is going to make me talk to Braydon. When she was done talking to Jake she came back to me. "Well well well." She said all sassy and preppy. "Yep I know I'm gonna have to talk to Braydon." I said sadly and kinda in a low voice so only she could hear. "Well we can work things out." She says and smiles. I looked at her really confused.
