2>>Lunch

We were at lunch right after gym. Of course 3rd lunch because 8th grade has that lunch. McKenzie sat next to me and Jake sat right across from us. "So what should we talk about?" Kenzie asked,      
" Well what do you guys like to do for fun?"  He asked, "I like sports, music, and creating music, you?" She asked him. " cool, I like sports and that's about it, I am learning piano well starting to. What instrument do you play?" He asked "piano and ukulele and some drums. Amara plays Uke too." They had long conversations and I could tell by me not talking much because he didn't ask me questions and him keep looking Kenzie dead in the eyes, he liked her. And of course so did she. She didn't know how to approach this situation. " Hey Jake can I talk to you for a minute alone?" I butted in while talking about last volleyball seasons games. We walked to a corner in the lunch room. " you like her. I know you do you can't hide it." I said "what? How? Wait? You can tell?" He was kinda talking gibberish "oh yah. Go ask her out! Please do it! I know she'll say yes.  Her best friend." I said excitedly. We walked back to the table smiling Kenzie looked confused. Jake sat down and looked at me then to Kenzie. "Can you?" He asked, a little afraid. "With pleasure. Will you go out with Jake?" I said happily. She looked at me then at Jake. "Uh... for for.. real?"She asked. He smiled. "Umm sure I guess." I was so happy for her. But it just made me really depressed and I glanced over at Braydon who was a table away. " Is Braydon your friend Jake?" I ask ed looking at Jake. "Oh yah were really close, but not as close as I'm gonna get with Kenzie." He wiggled his eyebrows at her and said he was only joking. We all laughed. "Well I guess we have to be friends now and friends share secrets, right?" I said going on. " Well I may have a crush on him." He had a sick smile on his face. (A good sick tho) like he had some kinda plan.
