Chapter 40

Mackenzie POV
My heart was racing as I sped over to my dad's house. I called Smoke as I drove over there. And told him that Rico got arrested and to come to my dad's house ASAP.

We both pulled up outside my dad house at the same time. And smoke had cherish with him. I have a key so I just opened the door. I didn't tell him we were coming and he walked downstairs with nothing but boxers on and a gun in his hand. He saw it was me and calmed down.

"You can come out now Zion" he yelled. And Zion came from one of my dad's secret spots under the floor. He had those put In his house just invade he needed to hide and there's a tunnel going all the way outside.

"Rico just got arrested" I said barely able to get those words out. "Okay calm down this isn't the first time we just have to go bail him out normally they don't have hard evidence anyway there just trying to scare him to get to me" my dad said.

"Okay well what are you standing there for let's go" I said highly aggravated that no one was moving fast enough. "Lemme get dressed first" my dad said then rushed upstairs and came back down with Adidas track suit.

We went down to the station and told the lady at the front desk his name. She said his bail was set to 100,000 and he would still have to come back for his trial. My dad paid his bail his bail and it felt like hours until he came out.

But once I saw him I ran to him holding him tighter than I never have before. "Omg I thought they were gonna send you to jail" I said. "Don't get your hopes up they still may send his ass after the trial" Smoke said. Rico and my dad gave him a look.

  "It's all right did you call my lawyer" Rico asked. I smacked my forehead "shit I was in such a hurry I forgot" I said. "It's okay we'll handle it when we get home where's Zion" Rico said as we made our way to the parking lot. "He's back at my house him and Jeremiah was sleep so I just let them stay there, I'll drop him off tonight" my dad said and I nodded.

We all went our separate ways. Once me and Rico go home he class his lawyer and he said he would meet with us tomorrow.

If he goes to jail I seriously don't know what I would do to myself.
