Bad Day

It's been another day when nothing went right

Forgotten, ignored, and sent out of sight

What's the point in me trying if I can't ever please you?

I feel so old in a world that's brand new

Why am I always seeking others approval?

It's constantly there; a never-ending pull

You won't even look at me, or give me the "time-of-day"

I'm fading, fading, slowly away

Into the nothing I'm pushed by you

No one affects me more than you do

I'm sinking, I'm silent, I'm in the black

I'm gone now, done for, there's no turning back

When I return, I will be stronger

You can't contain me for much longer

                          I will rise.

                                    You will fall.

I will defeat you once and for all

Once I've conquered, I'll look in your eyes and say

"Who are you to judge me, because of one day?"
