My Happy Heart (Ittoki x Reader)

Chapter One

Ittoki exhaled, filled with notsalgia. The sight of the orphanage brought back so many memories and put a bright smile on his face. Being there made him feel young again.

The door clicked shut when the red head walked in. The little ones immediately squealed in joy and excitement, and rushed to his side

He visited the orphanage as often as he could, which happened to be several times a week. The kids waited for him as it grew normal for him to be there. He became part of their little family.

"Ittoki?"

Otoya's vibrant red eyes looked up to meet with another pair of a (e/c) color. They belonged to a woman who stood in front of him. He smiled as a small giggle ran through his lips,"Have we met before?"

The girl nods, shifting in her white work uniform,"I used to live here too. The name is (L/N) (F/N)!"

The name rang a thought in his head, but it took a few seconds for him to remember it clearly. It finally hit his brain before he let out a gasp,"(Y/N)! You were that girl who got gum stuck in my hair!"

(Y/N) bit her lip, laughing nervously while fiddling with her finger tips, "Yeah.. Hah.. Sorry about that.."

Ittoki laughed along childishly and patted her on the shoulder,"Don't worry about it, it's in the past. Plus, it already grew back!"

Seeing Ittoki definitely reminded (Y/n) of the good old days. The days where she stared for hours at Otoya, having an enormous crush on him. She blushed at the thought as his voice intervened.

"(Y/N)?"

She blinked, panicking when she realized she had started day dreaming,"Huh?"

"I asked how you were doing?"

She chuckled awkwardly, trying to play it off cool, "Oh, sorry.. I dozed off a bit there."

"What? Was I too boring?" He joked, nudging her arm. She frantically shook her head,"Not at all! Sorry, it's just.. seeing you brought back so many memories. I'm really glad to see you again."

With those words, a faint blush appeared on the boy's face. He looked away with a smile spread clearly across his lips,"Me too."
