Jaya
After closing the salon up, I stopped by Chik Fil A ane got me and Jayla something to eat. I was too tired to cook tonight, and where in the world is Kendrick? He hasn't called or texted me all day .
"Mommy, where's Kendrick? " Jayla asked getting out of the car.
"I dont know baby" I grabbed our bags out of the passenger seat.
"I wonder where he at mama"
"Me too" I unlocked the apartment door and stepped inside with Jayla behind me.
After we ate our Chik Fil A we did our nightly hygiene stuffs. Jayla couldn't hang, she was passed out on the couch. I took her to her bed room and came back into the livingroom and turned on the stereo system.

"Everything" by Mary J. Blige played as I sunk all of reality in right now. I heard the front door open and of course it was Kendrick.
"Hey" he kissed me on the cheek.
I grabbed the remote to turn the music down and placed it back on the table.
"Where you been? " I asked
"I told you.. I had a meeting, sorry for not calling you" he sat down on the burgundy couch across from me.
"I'm not in the mood to argue. But all you had to do was call me" I sighed
"Jay. I understand next time I won't but I got something to tell you" he says
"What?"
"I gotta leave sometime this month"
When he spoke those words all of my feelings crashed in together. I didn't know how to feel, he know how I am about the media, crazed fans and all of that stuff.
"You heard me?" he asked sitting next to me.
I nodded .
"I wanna take you and Jayla with me!" he wipes away my tears
"I cant! "
"Why? " he asked
"Exactly! You cant tell me why you cant come with me. Jaya you're a grown woman, I mean why cant you? Live a little! "
"I'm sorry" I really wasn't in the mood for it tonight. This guy was too much to handle.
He got up and walked to the balcony and of course I followed.
"I'm sorry! ok! I'm not ready to leave Charlotte ok! its not that I dont love you... or that I'm scared, I just ain't ready for what Hollywood has to offer" I walked up behind him. He looked over the balcony and nodded .
I wrapped my arms around his waist and laid my head onto his back.
"I dont want you to go" I muffled into his shirt.
"Annd I want you to come" he kissed my hand and continued to look over the balcony
