Jaya POV
"Jaya calm down . He said he'll call you damn go to bed" Chyna says
It was seven in the morning, and I was having a damn fit. .
"Just fuck it" I said wiping my tears..I got in the shower and let the warm water hit my body, while i thought about about what could Kendrick could possibly be too busy to call me.I got out of the shower and put on some more pajamas. I checked my notifications from Twitter, and Instagram.
Sadly I didn't have any, but a follow request from
" @_TiffAmmonds . " I hope this isnt one of Kendrick fan girls. I lurked on her account, and from the looks of it she seemed aight.. I accepted the request and closed the app.
Several Weeks Later...
There was a knock on the door, so I answered it. It was my baby!
" Kendrick! I missed you! " I squealed nearly knocking him onto the floor. " Are you here for good? You staying?Baby please-"
" Shut up " he says giving me a kiss.
" How you feeling?"
" Great! Now,that my baby is back. " I say " How was the tour?"
"Straight. . I fucks with Ye even more" he said " I'm hungry though "
" I'll order pizza, I guess " I say. He nodded and took his things upstairs. I called the closest Pizza Hut, and cuddled with him on the couch... Y'all don't understand how much I miss him. The doorbell rung and it was the delivery guy.. I paid for the pizza and sat it on the counter.
We ate, talked about the tour,and other random things.. Until the doorbell rung again. I rolled my eyes and answered it.
" We're looking for Kendrick Duckworth " a police officer says
" For ? " I questioned
" Ma'am, don't question me. Where is he? " he asked
" Bae. Who at the door? " Kendrick asked " Wassup ? " he say eyeing the officer.
" Kendrick Lamar Duckworth. You're under arrest, for sleeping with a minor " he say putting him in handcuffs.
" Kendrick... What? " I said trying to catch my balance..
" Jaya I'm sorry " he says.
" I-- how could you ? " I say
" I didn't know she was a minor man " he argued with the officer as he told him his rights...
" Really ? You cheated ? " I questioned him before slamming the door in his face.. I wasn't even going to cry over that,though its his first time slipping up. But the thing I'm mad about is that he came here, not telling me about his actions, with a MINOR? Is this how we get down now ?
I heard a set of keys and Jayla, along with Chyna calling my name from downstairs.
" Chyna! She's in here!" Jayla says running over to the corner where I was laying in.
" Girl I heard what happened! But trust me, you gotta help Kendrick. He could lose everything man" she said.walking into the room.
" Why should I give a fuck ? " I said nonchalantly..Yes I love Kendrick,but this is his fuck up... Not mine.
" There's gotta be a logical reason behind all of this " she says
" I knew from day one.. coming here was a big ass mistake! Loving Kendrick was a big ass mistake! Everything we had was a big ass mistake " I say
Kendrick POV
" Aye man what you in here for? " an inmate ask
" Long story man " I reply shaking my head
" I feel ya blood. " he say..
This is my first time being arrested, and I wasn't scared. The only thing I feared were them charges a nigga had to face, fucking up my career,losing Jaya and Jayla, and most importantly my respect.. I couldn't see a nigga like me registering as a sex offender. The thing is , this Janelle Arway didn't tell me her age.. Kanye's show was eighteen and over; so how the hell she got in? Fake ID and Makeup. Sounds like a new song I'm going to record one day, when all this shit pass.
" Duckworth. You have ten minutes to make a call. " a security officer says
I quickly walked over to the phone., and called Jaya. She answered at the third ring.
" What do you want ? "
" Yo baby, I apologize. It was just that I was drinking and she was too. I didn,---"
" I understand that but why you ain't tell me?"
" I was eventually "
" a minor over a twenty two year old ? "
" Babe I ---"
" Don't babe me!"
"Duckworth you have five minutes left " the security officer says
" Jaya. I'll talk to you later " I said hanging up, and quickly dialing my managers number. We discussed getting a lawyer, and I told him to keep an close eye on Jaya, and make sure she doesn't leave.
I sat back in the cell and thought about, this Janelle character... Everything about her resembled Tiffany, but it couldn't be her.. She left for Texas a while back after she caught Sherane and I in the act. A lot of shit is on my. mind... I could be losing everything, but most importantly Jaya Delay.
