Tord felt his shoulder being shook, and opened an eye in annoyance.
Tom was directly in front of his face.
"AAAH!"
Tord almost fell out of his seat, but caught himself, "Can you not do that Tom?!"
The man in question cackled and handed him his bag, helping him up. They exited the plane and into the large airport.
"Welcome to Vancouver Canada. Bienvenue, Vancouver Canada."
"I forgot they spoke both French and English.", Tord said.
Tom nodded, "Me too. Let's find Edd and Matt, I think they said they were going to grab out things."
"Okay, I called Abby earlier, she should be here.", Tord said.
Tord looked at the time on a clock, 3: 40 pm. They walked off after setting the time on their phones, finding Matt and Edd grabbing their luggage like they said.
"Alright, Abby said she'd grab us at the main pickup.", Tord said, checking his texts.
They walked towards the pickup, seeing plenty of people waiting for others. One stood out, seeing as they held up a giant sign saying, 'Welcome back from prison Tord.'
Tord had a flashback.
"If you ever drop by Vancouver, feel free to call me to pick you up eh? But I'm definitely gonna hold up a sign saying, 'Welcome back from prison'.", Abby said, her back to the airport.
Tord sniffed and nodded, "I'm looking forward to that. Say hi to everyone for me."
"I will my friend. Keep your heart open, blah blah, I'm no good at speeches.", she grinned sheepishly.
The two hugged, and Abby waved as the car drove away, going back home to her country of Canada.
Tord grinned widely, running over and hugging the woman tightly.
"TORDLE!", she cried.
The two hugged tightly, both resisting the urge to cry. Abby broke away, a grin stretched across her slightly tanned face.
"I see you remember, I'm honored. I kept my promise, now you keep yours.", Abby giggled.
Abby sat in the car, waiting for her friend to arrive from London. Norway was beautiful this time of year, but once Tord came back, she could go home to her own country.
"Tord!", she cried, stepping out of the car.
She giggled, "If you ever visit me in Vancouver, and i pull some stupid shit with a sign, you have to do your fancy walk the entire way home, eh?"
"Pssh, if that ever happens.", Tied cackled.
Tord slapped his forehead, "Only because it's one of the only damn things I remember."
He sighed and fixed his posture, spiking his horns up and handing his bag to Abby, who took it and straightened also. They walked into the brisk air, ravens flying around the airport. Abby opened the door for all of them, before getting in with them and tapping the wall between them and the driver.
"Alrighty, so, my name's Abigail Volkov, if Tord hasn't already told you, and I'm going to be your guide for the entirety of you stay here in beautiful Canada. Activities include skating, HOCKEY, skiing or snowboarding, roller skating or skateboarding, fishing, jet skiing, surfing if the waves are up, and basically anything you want!", she said enthusiastically.
