A scream ran through the house, waking everyone up. They exited their bedrooms in different stages of confusion and drowsiness, Abby and Tom instantly running to the origin of the sound. Tord's bedroom.
Tord was huddle in the corner of the bed and against the wall, shaking and sobbing. Tom strode forward, wrapping him in his large arms, quietly shushing him and whispering sweet nothings into his ear. The frightened Norwegian's sobs turned to soft cries, then simply sniffles. His eyes were clenched shut, his arms, clinging to Tom like a lifeline.
Abby stepped out of the room, leaving the two alone.
"What happened?", Tom asked.
Tord almost started crying again, but held back the crippling waves of terror, "I-I r-remembered th-the giant r-robot."
Tom's heart broke at the sight of Tord on the verge of breaking down again, and held him closely. The two sat there on the bed, the others having gone back to sleep, and simply cried. Tom cried for Tord, wishing his sadness away, and Tord in grief for what he did.
Both of them were resisting yawns by the time Tord calmed down, and Tom stood up to leave.
"W-wait."
Tom turned around, Tord grilling his sleeve, "What is it?"
"C-can you s-stay?", Tord asked, fumbling with the blanket.
Tom nodded and lifted the sheet, climbing into the bed, Tord immediately snuggling into his chest. Tom buried his face into Tord's hair, welcoming the familiarity of the movement, and wrapping his arms around the Norwegian. With their bodies tangled in one another, the quiet air turned from sniffles and soft words, to gentle breaths and sighs.

When the morning came, the two didn't get up right away, instead simply holding one another, and relishing the calm moment. As soon as the smell of bacon hit their noses however, they were already up the stairs.
"I SMELLED BACON!", Tord yelled, almost crashing into the chair instead of sitting on it.
Tom sat down across from him, raising his head to look into the pans Abby was using. Bacon was indeed cooking in one, eggs in another, and a slab of what seemed to be thin pork rolled in breadcrumbs in another.
"What's that?", Matt asked, walking in.
Abby flipped the pans before answering, "Back bacon, eggs, and regular bacon, there's toast in the toaster too."
Matt grabbed a piece of toast, munching on it and sitting down.
"So what's planned for today?", Edd yawned.
Tom and Tord jumped, not realizing he was already at the table.
Abby dished each of them, "The reservations for the skiing and snowboarding trip are for tomorrow, so I guess we can do anything."
"Can we go rollerblading?", Matt asked.
Tord nodded, as did Tom, Abby grinned, "Yeah, we can go rent some, I have some skateboards that my cousin's left here too if you want."
"Nah, we don't want to break them.", Edd said.
The others nodded in agreement, mostly because they knew that they would. Abby chuckled and set the dishes down.
After breakfast Abby got the dogs, the cat laying on the window sill, as well as her skateboard, and the others followed her to the rental place.
"Four pairs of rollerblades please David.", she asked.
David shot her a flirty grin and ran off to get them for her. Abby rolled her eyes, sighing. Soon enough David had come back with four pairs of rollerblades blades, as well as a fifth.
