"LaTrece Long."
LaTrece's name was called. She got up and walked across the stage to accept her advanced diploma. Molly also accepted hers.
When the program was over, they took pictures with Kalvin, Lamar, Valerie, Alasha, Terrilyn, Patricia, Carolyn, Leroya, Gerald, and Mike.
"Baby I'm so proud of you." Kalvin hugged LaTrece.
Kalvin and LaTrece have been going strong for six months. Everything's been all good lately, no problems or bullshit.
Kalvin handed her a envelope and a dozen roses.
"Thank you babes." LaTrece kissed him.
"We turning up tonight." Alasha said.
"Congrats sis. I'm proud of you. Me and Val will he over tonight." Lamar hugged her.
"See you tonight girl." Valerie walked away with Lamar.
"Congrats best friend." Patricia hugged her.
"Thanks. Who's this?" LaTrece asked.
"Oh, this is my boyfriend, Will." Patricia said.
LaTrece shook his hand. "What happen to that Mexican?"
"Girl I had to get rid of his taco eating ass." Patricia laughed. "We'll meet up with y'all tonight though."
Patricia and will left. Of course , Will is a white boy. He's also Leroya's first cousin.
"Congrats boo. Meet my boyfriend, Gerald." Leroya said.
"Oh, I know Gerald." LaTrece smiled. "How you doing?"
"Oh I'm good." Gerald said.
"What y'all doing tonight?" Terrilyn asked.
"We throwing her and Molly a party." Kalvin said.
Molly and LaTrece took a couple pictures together.
Kalvin and LaTrece went home.
"My baby finally graduated." Kalvin smiled. "What you gon do?"
LaTrece sat on his lap. "Starting in August, I'm going to college to become a RN."
"You look like the type."
LaTrece kissed Kalvin's neck. She got up, leaving his friend hard.
"See you play too much." Kalvin said.
The door bell rung. LaTrece answered. It's Kalvin's mother, Katherine.
"Hey my baby." Katherine hugged her. "Congratulations."
"Thank you momma." LaTrece smiled. "You coming to party with us?"
"Naw baby, I got a date with my man."
"Yo man?" Kalvin looked up. "Be careful."
"Don't worry so much. I just came to give my babu her gift."
Katherine handed LaTrece a Victoria secret bag, a envelope, and lillies. They've gotten so close over the months.
"Thank you momma. I love em." LaTrece kissed her cheek.
"See y'all later." Katherine walked away.
LaTrece closed the door. She put the lillies in the vase with her roses.
"Katie wants to talk to you.". Kalvin handed LaTrece the phone.
*Phone Conversation*
LaTrece : Hey my baby
Katie : Hey ma. Can you come gwet me in the morning?
LaTrece : I sure can. What you wanna do tomorrow?
Katie : Can we go laser tagging?
LaTrece : We sure can. I love loser tagging.
Katie : Yay! I love you .
LaTrece : I love you too.
*End of phone covers.*
"You got Katie spoiled rotten." Kalvin said.
"That's my baby." LaTrece smiled.
"Maybe we can have a baby together."
"Maybe." she smiled.
"I'm Forreal. Will you have my baby Trece?"
"Yeah, Mee can have one. Me and momma been talking about it."
"I guess y'all getting close or whatever." Kalvin smiled.
"I love her like she my momma."
About 9 that night, everyone started to come. Lamar, Valerie, Patricia, Will, Molly, Carolyn, Gerald, Alasha, Mike, Terrilyn, Tyrese, Leroya, and Kalvin's cousins, Tiffany and Andrew.
They partied hard and drunk all night. Molly and LaTrece were the one's who really for wasted. They drunk a whole bottle of liquor, by their selves. They stood on the kitchen counter and danced all night. LaTrece started to dance a little too freaky. Kalvin caught Mike staring at her and said that the party was over. Everyone left except Alasha, Terrilyn, and Molly. They slept in the guest room.
Short update.
LaTrece finally graduated.
Katie calling her momma.
Kalvin jealous huh? he don't like nobody looking
The drama is about to start back up. All the shooting, kidnapping, and dying.
