A/N Yuki wants to have a talk with Goten. Will he listen to her? I don't own DBZ/GT.
Yuki wanted to be by herself for a while, so she decided to go to the pier to enjoy the salty sea air and the wind blowing through her hair. Yuki was just leaning on the railing looking at the waves going back and forth and the way the water crashes to the sand. Yuki was smiling enjoying the peace and moment.
Until, she heard a familiar laughter. Yuki looked up and saw Goten with his girlfriend Valese, she just looked away and hopefully they didn't see her. Although, there was something that did plague Yuki's mind she just need to find out why. So, she gathered enough courage and walk towards Goten and Valese. When Goten saw Yuki walking towards them Goten had an annoyed look on his face and Valese just had a stupid look like she didn't know what was going on.
"Hi Go...."
"What do you want Yuki?"
"I-I was wondering if you and I can talk alone"
Goten told Valese to wait on the bench, while Goten and Yuki went to go talk. Goten looks annoyed, so Yuki tried to rush what she is going is say but Valese was getting impatient.
"I just want to know why you didn't bother to wait for me to return. I told you I was going to return."
"You think I have feelings for you just because I gave you some flowers. Hahahaha how stupid can you be? I was just a little kid, it didn't mean anything."
"If it was nothing, then why are you giving me the cold shoulder? Why do you see me as a bother? I haven't done anything wrong to you!"
"You attacked my niece"
"She was asking for it and you're avoiding the question"
"That's because I have nothing to say to you"
Valese was getting mad from being ignored and got up and started walking away. Goten saw Valese walking away.
"Look, you see what you did!! We were on a date and now because of you she's mad. Do me the favor stay away from me and stop talking to me"
Goten went running off to chase Valese. Yuki stood there frozen hurt by the words he said, she decided to just walk back to the Brief's home. It was night time, Yuki finally arrived home late. Trunks and Yumi were watching a movie, when they heard the door open, Yumi smiled at Yuki
"Hey your home late, who's the lucky fellow?"
But Yuki didn't say anything and continued walking to the room. Yumi knew something happened, so she got up from the couch, covering Trunks with the blanket and left to see what's wrong with Yuki. Yumi made it to the room but no sign of Yuki, Yumi finally had an idea and decided to check the roof. Yumi flew out the window and saw Yuki sitting on the roof, she finally landed right beside Yuki.
"Hey what's wrong?"
"H-he doesn't want to see me anymore. He told me to stay away from him and to don't ever talk to him."
Yuki let out a sob and tears were coming down her face. Yumi knew exactly who she was talking about.
"I-i just wanted to know why, is that too much to ask."
Yumi put her arm around Yuki giving her a hug
"No, no its not. (Sigh) Look I can't tell you what to do but the only best advice I can give you is to don't let one guy get to you. Okay"
Yuki didn't say anything
"Come on, when your ready come back inside okay"
Yuki just nodded, Yumi then left back inside. Yuki decided to stay outside longer looking at the moon.
