We all climbed into Aiden's jeep and turned the radio on, causing pop music to bast through our ears.
We all sang along and swayed to the music, causing the jeep to sway.
I caught sight of Brody sitting on a bench with his jaw clenched, he looked exhausted, as though he had been thinking too much.
"Can I get out for a moment? I won't be gone long." I asked, and Aiden turned the engine off.
"Yeah, just hurry up." Melody said, and I got out of the car.
I jogged over to where I was about ten feet behind him, and then I started walking.
I gently touched his shoulder, and he flinched. He turned his head slightly so he could see who it was, and when he saw me, his eyes widened for a moment, before his face dropped into the scowl I had grown accustomed to before we started dating.
"What do you want?" He growled, and I sat down next to him.
"I want us to get over this." I replied, and he let out a sigh.
"I'm not mad at you, I'm just...stressed." He explained, and I nodded understandingly.
Aiden honked the horn.
"I understand, believe me. But I better go, Aiden's getting irritated." The moment I said that, I regretted it.
"Wait, what? Aiden is- your room mate?" He asked, his mouth falling agape.
"I forgot I didn't tell you. My dorm mates are Maddy, Aiden, and Melody, but don't worry, nothing's going to happen. We're only just now becoming friends." I said, and he clenched his jaw so tight I was afraid it was going to break.
"Fine. But don't let him make a move on you. I've been trying to figure out a way to tell you this, but I don't think there's anyway to get around it. When you were unconcious in the hospital last time, Aiden snuck into your room while I was in the cafeteria, and he kissed you." He said the last three words so fast I could hardly hear them.
"Wait, what?" I asked, my mind whirling with thousands of thoughts. And I thought maybe we could over look the past and be friends again.
"You heard me, but don't let on that I told you." Brody said, running a hand through his messy hair that suddenly looked darker than normal.
"I won't. Thanks for letting me know now though. I'm going to go now before they kill me, I'll talk to you later." I smiled, and ran back to the car.
I climbed back into my position and slammed the door shut.
"About time!" Aiden and Melody exclaimed in unison, and I smiled before rolling my eyes.
"Let's go!" Maddy and I exclaimed at the same time.
"We've really got to quit doing this." I muttered, and they all nodded in agreement.
