"What are you planning on doing after college?" Melody asked me, running a hand through her hair that looked effortlessly perfect lying on her shoulders.

Her hair could litterally be in a knot and she would pull it off; I guess it's kind of obvious that I'm kind of jealous.

"Uh, I'm not really sure, I've always wanted to be a writer, but I also want to test my fortune with singing. I've been told by a few people that I'm a good singer." I said, taking a sip of my soda.

"Both sound cool. I actually really like reading, and I've also been told I'm a decent singer." She grinned, and I tried to hide my shock that she enjoys reading.

"Maybe in the car we can try and perform a last minute duet- what about Treat You Better by Shawn Mendes?" I asked, and she grinned.

"Shawn is one of my favorite celebs out there!" She squealed, and I smiled wide.

I didn't realize the two of us had so much in common, maybe we could become close friends.

I don't know about Aiden though. I thought maybe, but then after what Brody told me, I don't think I'll be able to over come to, at least not anytime soon anyway.

"Here you guys go." Shannon said, setting our pizza's down.

"Thanks." Maddy said, smiling, but there was a certain sadness in her tone, and an emptiness behind her eyes that wasn't there before, or maybe I was just now noticing it, either way, I need to try and figure out what it is.

Wait, no. I need to stop prying into people's lives.

"Are you okay Em? You're looking a little pale." Aiden spoke up, and I glanced at him, trying to desguise my disgust with sincerity.

I looked over at where Maddy was sitting beside me a moment ago, and she wasn't there. Did she go to the bathroom?

"Yeah, I'm okay. I'm just worried about Madeline." I responded, and Aiden sighed.

"You should probably go check on her. She looked on the verge of tears when she got up, I tried to ask her if she was okay, but she dissapeared to quick." He said, and it was then I realized that Mel was gone too. Did she follow after her?

"I'm going to go check on Maddy and Mel, maybe I can help." I excused myself from the table and jogged to the bathroom, even though I looked like an idiot doing it, I wanted to hurry.

"Aw, Maddy, are you okay?" I asked Maddy, she was sitting on the bathroom floor, sobbing into her hadns.

Melody was sitting next to her, and I motioned towards the door, letting her know she could leave.

She got up, and smiled reassuringly at the both of us before leaving the bathroom.

"What's wrong Maddy?" I questioned, taking a seat beside her and resting my hand on her back.

"I feel really homesick, m-my parents seem to hardly care I'm gone. They are already on their way to board a cruise ship, and they've hardly sent me a text yet. I know I-I've only b-been gone a c-couple days, b-but they could have at l-least texted once." She wailed, and I gave her a small smile.

"I'm sure they miss you. And everything will be okay. Once they get back from the cruise, you can go surprise visit them!" I said, hoping it would cheer her up a bit.

"Okay." She grinned.

I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter. I don't remember what day I uploaded last, so I don't know whether it's been a long period of time, or a short amount of time, but oh well. Thanks for reading, and I can't believe this is only the sixth chapter and I've already gotten over two hundred reads!

Maybe within a month's time, we can have a thousand! Maybe only a couple of weeks if we really try! I hope more people read the other two, because it seems like the amount of reads I've been getting have really started slowing down. I may or may not add the chapters from the last book into the first book, and then only have two books. What do you guys think?

I hope I haven't lost too many readers over the course of the last few months, because I think I've lost a few. But those of you who have stayed faithful, you guys are the best!
