It was nearly SATs time, the dreaded time of the year for primary schools…Children trying not to go because they ‘felt sick’ apparently; I just hoped that I wouldn’t wake up in SATs week. Suddenly, without warning, I went into a really deep sleep, I imagined things like it was heaven…

It made me scared now to think that I had died; somebody pushed me through these golden and silver gates and then, standing in front of me, was what seemed like God. Now I knew I was dead, defiantly. But then it all started echoing,

“Samantha, Samantha, can you hear me, you nearly died just then. Please, make sure you don’t do it again?!” It was the nurse, I could tell she had been crying, her voice was all sore and her hands were wet and cold. How did I nearly just die, I thought I was already dead, but, oh-no, I was alive but nearly died...
