Why? Why did she keep it from me, it wasn’t like I was gonna wake up suddenly and… oh, forget it. She told me that there was a very slim chance that I would survive. Apparently there was a 95% that I was gonna die. Suddenly, after about 10 minutes of not speaking, she broke the delicate silence,
“look Samantha, I know that it has come to a surprise to you, but I couldn’t bear you not knowing. I just wanted to say…” she trailed off into a deathly silence, my deathly silence.
I just wanted to wake up and say: “ say it, c’mon, say it.” But I couldn’t, I was just about dead. God, why did you let them do this to me? WHY??
