Abbie's POV
For once in my life I actually woke up early for school by myself.
By early I mean 10 minutes before it starts.
That's besides the point because i'm up so that's all that counts right?
Anywho, I had to wake up earlier since Maddie is bringing me to school. Since my mom found out about me drinking Sunday she yelled at me last night about how terrible drinking is and how i'm punished for a month and blah blah. Moral of the speech was no car for a month and no phone so yay me!
I finished brushing my hair and hurried to my room to finish changing. I threw on a pair of skinny jeans and Cole's hoodie because honestly I didn't feel like searching for a clean shirt. I applied some light makeup and grab my empty ass school bag hurrying to the kitchen. I quickly grabbed a banana just in time to hear Maddie honk her horn. Shoving the banana in my bag I walk out and slide in her car accidentally slamming her door. I gave her an "oopsies" face and kissed her door.
"Geez don't break my door now." Maddie jokingly says. I roll my eyes and automatically hook my phone up to bluetooth playing my poppin playlist.
"BUT I STILL WANNA BE YOUR FAVORITE BOYYY." I scream as Maddie starts to backup. She starts cracking up as we both sing to the top of our lungs, probably sounding like two emo kids singing about heart break and being friendzoned.
"Want some breakfast?" She asks as we're about to pass a McDonalds. I nod my head with excitement as I play a new song. She pulled in ordering our food as I cracked up her volume for Redbone. She rolls her eyes knowing how much I love this song.
"Daylight, I wake up feeling like you won't play right." I sing as she is talking to the McDonalds working. We both started laughing when the guy started to sing along with me. We pulled up to the pay window and he started dancing and singing along with us; it's people like this that keep me happy. We all exchanged snapchats, because hey he's kinda cute, and I had to swear to him I wasn't lying because my dumbass doesn't have a phone at the moment.
After getting our food we headed straight for school since we were already 3 minutes late. I ordered an egg white delight and got an orange juice as my drink, Maddie on the other hand with her vegan self, got three bowls of fruit and an apple juice. Which honestly I hate apple juice so the smell of it makes me gag.
"Are you going to the party tonight?" Maddie asks as she parks her car in front the school.
"A party on a Tuesday?" I say giving her a funny look. Who the hell other than Drake gets lit on a Tuesday?
"You know what Drake says" It was as if she could read my mind at that point. "It's Chris's party, you know he throws the best ones!" We got out her car and head to our 1st periods.
"You only say that because you have a crush on that Naruto kid." I say making us both giggle. Maddie has had a crush on Chris since 8th grade and it's so obvious. She literally used to slide love notes into his locker signing 'xoxo hime-sama'.
Too bad the kid loves anime more than girls.
"Whatever you know it's true. We'll talk later I gotta run to Mr. Levies class before he gets there. He is always late so hopefully I'm lucky today." She starts to run to the second building as I yell bye to her. I groan as I remember I have that dumb old man first period.
"I see the princess is late." Someone says from behind me. I turn around to see Tyler with a cigarette in his mouth. I roll my eyes playfully as I walk towards him. I reach forward and take the cigarette out his mouth.
"Good thing my prince charming is here, too bad he has such an ugly habit." I smirk at him as a throw his cigarette in the water fountain. He sighs before backing me into the wall with his hands on either side of my face. My face drops in utter confusion and shock as he leans forward and whispers in my ear.
"Don't act like you don't smoke either princess." He looks at me with a smug look making me roll my eyes. I push him off me and collect myself since my legs felt like noodles. Jokes on him because I don't smoke anymore.
I juul now son.
"Frick off Benson." I roll my eyes before walking to my first period class. I couldn't help but feel his eyes on me as I walked down the hall. I stopped walking and turned around to see him standing against a locker staring at me with his famous smirk.
"Enjoy the view?" I gain enough confidence to say. I tilt my head giving him a sarcastic smile as he bites his lip.
"What can I say, I hate to see you leave but love to watch you go."
