Lucas pov : I was sitting in the hallway with kai after this girl chased the life outta me it was quite until she broke the silence by asking me why I left MA'Layah's room so upset
Kai: so what happened with you and Layah
Lucas: I was just trying to make things right with her but she shut me out
Kai: just give her time she been dealing with a lot I just wish I was there sooner and knew a lot sooner I should of never left her
Lucas: well if you knew who I was you would probably do the same thing
Kai: Lucas I knew who you were I just thought maybe you changed
Lucas: and I'm trying so hard it's just that no matter how hard I try she pushes me away
Kai; well in my opinion everyone deserves a second chance and to be forgiven

Kai thoughts :I couldn't help myself but Lucas is nice guy but MA'Layah I couldn't do this to her she is my sister but I was caught up in the moment so I leaned in too
Lucas thoughts :Kai is just like MA'Layah in so many ways I really like MA'Layah but I got caught up in the moment I couldn't help myself
