Zyon's P.O.V
I decided to see what was wrong she went in such a hurry. "where you going" Annabel said. "i have to go to the bathroom" i said which was a lie but i had to see what was wrong. i left dashing down the hell i turned to corner going twords her locker. I heard someone screaming down the hall it was a very familiar scream then i realized it was veronica i sprinted down the hall "veronica" i called out i saw something on top of her she saw me "zyon help get this thing off of me" she shouted i pulled the thing well person off and it came for me i went over to the person and pinned it to the ground by its shoulders while it tried to attack my face she got up and smashed it's head with her foot she obviously knew it was a zombie. We always played resident evil together "you alright" i asked
"i'm fine and i didn't need your help"she started to walk off "from the looks of it you did" i grabbed her shoulder "we don't have time for this where's Annabel?" she asked "eating lunch" "we have to get her and get out of here" we started running off to the cafeteria "you do know what is happening right" i asked "yea lets go get Annabel" we went into the cafeteria to look for Annabel she was sitting at the table listening to music playing on her phone veronica went up to her she tapped her shoulder and she looked up"Annabel we have to go now" she said "whats wrong " Annabel asked "i'll explain on the way we have to leave now" and with that we left.
Annabel's P.O.V
she told me we had to leave she said she'd explain on the way as we made our way out of the building she explained everything "i don't believe you" i said "what's there not to believe " veronica said "everything i mean this stuff only happens in movies what if this is just a prank i mean you crushed the principals skull unless you have some proof that this is all true then i'm not going anywhere got it" i said "well then why don't you look at the news on your phone then" so i did there was a bunch of things on over half the population in new York is gone due too new virus spread i clicked on a video that was attached to the news feed it was a video of a girl getting attacked by one of those things it started eating at her then it got up and attacked the camera man then i thought maybe they are right maybe this is really happening but what do we do from here "Ok so you are right but what do we do from here" i asked " i don't know i guess we go home and pack our stuff and don't look back" and with that we left.
And that was my last memory of that world
It's been 1 and a half years since this all started. It's the middle of winter right now, i had a dream about the past when times were good. we found a nice house to stay in we've been here for about 7 months now i think. Christmas is in two days I've been trying to keep count zyon caught the flu well i guess it's more of a cold he coughs up blood and we think he's on the verge of dying and now all i want for Christmas is zyon to get better but i think veronica is more worried abut him than i am she stays in there 24/7 just to make sure that he is fine we are going on a run later to an animal hospital that's a few mile south form here it could take a few days and we don't have a car i feel bad to leave him here all alone but i guess Riley will be here Riley is a dog we found wondering the streets before we got here so we decided to keep him he's a German Shepard he's a good dog plus we need more dog food we started to get ready to go Riley came up to me i'm guess she knew we were leaving because he started whimpering "aw it's ok we'll be back but i need you to take care of zyon and if anything happens i need you to come find us ok" i said to him and he barked and got on the bed with zyon "god dog" i started to get my pack ready when veronica came in " you ready" she asked "yea let me put my shoes on then we can go" i said "ok" veronica said she walked over to zyon "are you sure you'll be ok while we are gone " she asked "yes Riley will be here" he coughed "and if anything" he coughed again."woa woa calm down don't talk to much just nod that you'll send riley if anything happens ok" he nodded "we are gonna go ok " he nodded again and with that we left.
