Veronica P.O.V
I parked the car in front of the hospital we got out and went in. "alright keep you eyes open for walkers" i said "got it" Annabel said i looked at the directory i saw where they were keeping the medicine. " ok so i found where they are keeping the medicine just down this hall a little bit i said we started to walk down the hall we found where it was. "let me know when you find something you think we could use i'll check it out". she nodded i was gonna be a doctor before all this happened, so i know a little bit about this stuff like medicine. I took an elective class back in the 8th grade on what makes us sick and how to treat it i'm glad i did to other wise i would be screwed in this situation. I started to grab some things off the shelf.
"umm veronica" annabel said i sighed. "yes annabel" i turned around to see four people standing in the doorway. One had a cross bow and a leather jacket on. The other one was a girl and she had dreadlocks and a sword she had a tough look on her face. The one behind her had a black hat on with a list in his hands. The last one had sort of a fishing jacket on with a bag hanging beside him. "what are you doing here" i asked. "from the looks of it the same as you medicine" the one with the cross bow said. He grabbed the list out of the one guys hand and started grabbing medicine off a shelf. "is it just you two" he said again "no our friend is at home with our dog he's the one who is sick" he nodded "yea some of our camp has it" he said they had a camp i thought to myself they could help us. "you have a camp" i asked. The girl with the dread locks kept staring at me like i did something wrong. "yea we do" he said. "do you take people in" i asked grabbing saline bags. "yea would you like to come" he was stopped by the girl with the sword she whispered something to him. "what are your names" she asked. "i'm veronica that's annabel and our friend zyon is at home with our dog riley" i said. "are any of you bit" she asked looking at me to see if we did. "no" she nodded "im Daryl that's michonne bob and tyreese" he said pointing to each of them i nodded "so can we come with you" i asked "yes you can we well go get your friend and we'll show you to our camp ok " daryl said "thank you i have all the medicine you have yours" i asked daryl came over to me and took the medicine from my hands."since we are gonna be in the same group i think i can take those off your hands ok lets go you lead us to your house" he said.
Annabel P.O.V
We all hopped in our cars and made our way to get riley and zyon. "are you exited" veronica shook my leg while driving " for what" i questioned "to see people again they said they have a big group with kids our age what if you meet someone you like" she said "what if they are lying and they are just want to take us in and kill us and " she slapped me "calm down they seem nice we will be fine" she looked at me " thanks i needed that" i rubbed my face where she slapped me " i was freaking out a bit there" "yea you where he told me they have a doctor to take care of zyon everything's gonna be fine"she said "you said that last time veronica but look where that got us" i snapped "im sorry last time wasn't my fault i thought we would be safe there" "well you where wrong look what happened" i looked at her angrily she still had her eyes on the road " im sorry i was wrong i was at least trying it's not my fault she said to stay strong and fight and now that's what i'm doing im trying now can you just be happy" she shouted "i'll try but not because you told me to i'll do it for her" "i tired to find her but i couldn't ok we got spit up" she looked at me the rest of the car ride was in silence on the way there i thought about the past when we found riley one day veronica was out looking for supplies and she came back with a dog i told her we couldn't keep him but she just kept begging and begging and i finally had to give in we named him riley after our grandma who died we found a collar for him at a pet shop and a leash but we don't really keep him on it because he stays we love him i would be sad if anything happened to him.
We pulled in front or our house and got out i heard riley barking from the inside. I guess he must of heard us coming "riley" i shouted he came running out and barking. "what's wrong hu boy" then i thought zyon. "veronica" i shouted "yea whats wrong" she said "i think somethings wrong with zyon" she went running into the house i ran with her "zyon" she shouted "zyon" she ran into the room and so did i "he's not breathing" she said she started to pump his chest. he had blood all over his face it was crusted he must have passed out a long time ago. "veronica" i looked at her she was just looking at him. I put my hand up to find his pulse he still had one "he still has a pulse" she continued to pump his chest. He gasped for air but he didn't open his eyes "oh thank god" she said "let's get him in the car" we lifted him up with the help of daryl, and walked him to the car we put him in the back seat with riley and we drove on to the camp.
