today i'm going to meet mark's brother since mark told me that joey, his brother, would tour me around la for a day and that i should meet him at his house.
that's how i ended up in front of this big house, debating on whether to knock or bail out.
"ah~ avery, isn't it?" a woman asked from the door.
"ah, yes, auntie. is joey here?" i asked her politely.
"he's getting ready upstairs. why don't you come in first? i'm mark's mother, by the way," she said and let me in, "mark told me a lot about you."
"oh really? i hope it's good stuff."
"oh! you're here! sorry, for taking so long. should we go?" joey asked as he ran down the stairs.
"hey, aren't you going to introduce this young lady to us, joey?" a man, who i assume is their father, asked while two other girls came following behind.
"papa, mama, tammy, and grace, this is avery, she's mark hyung's friend," joey said and i bowed, "avery, this is my father, mother and two sisters, tammy and grace!"
"nice to meet you all," i said and bowed.
"alright, now you can go. take her home before it's too late, okay?" mr.tuan said.
"don't worry, i will."

"can i ask you something?" joey asked as we sat at a cafe.
it was evening already and we decided to stop by a cafe to talk.
"sure."
"do you remember me, berry?" he asked.
"i'm sorry?"
"i guess you don't, then."
"tell me. i want to know my past. do i know you? were we friends?" i asked.
"yea, you, mark and i, along with joan, were best friends when we were very little. but then you moved to korea."
"oh."
he then took out his phone and asked, "hey, should we take a picture and send it to mark?"
"huh? okay."
we then did a few poses and took some pictures before joey sent some of it to mark.
"can i post this on my twitter and instagram?" he asked.
"yea, sure."
