A Promise [ A Nanu x Mecha Story ]

Chapter 4

Nanu's POV

Me and Mecha were finished fighting those monsters so we went back to the Basilicom but before  we could do that we decided to rest first. I looked at Mecha and then I held her hand which made her look at me while blushing "Its okay Mecha, I'm here for you" I said smiling at her

I was shocked when she started to cry "I'm sorry you have to see me crying" Mecha said trying to wipe her tears "I'm really happy because of you Nanu, I'm glad that I met you" she smiled at me then I wiped her tears away

"Hey, is Run your sister?" I asked

"No, not really. Both of her parents were killed because I couldn't protect them" Mecha said still holding my hand "I think it was a good thing that I took care of Run" she looked away and said "Remember your question when you asked me that who will take over when my reign is done?"

"Yeah" I said "Do you need some more shares?"

"No, when we die, I mean the CPUs here. We turn into kids then we grow up again and we learn to to transform we can't age anymore" Mecha said "However, we can't recall our old memories, all we know is that we are CPUs that needs to protect our nations"

"Do you remember your past life?" I asked before Mecha shook her head "I see"

"That was all the info I got from M-Bie, she said that she only met me once when I was born" Mecha said "Isn't that weird, Uzume and the others were reborn twice or thrice but I'm the only one who hasn't died yet"

"It is quite weird" I said "You've never died, not even once"

Back at the café

Mecha's POV

I was working with Uzume and Big Neps while in my maid uniform. I was getting a bit annoyed because they won't stop flirting with each other "Hey, get back to work" I said with a serious tone then they continued working

"Mecha, aren't you a bit tired?" Nanu said before I wiped my sweat "You should rest a bit"

"If you say so, but it would look like I'm slacking off" I said before Big Neps hugged me from behind

"Its your breaktime, Mecha" Big Neps said "I got you and Nanu some ice cream" Uzume put two ice cream cup on the table then they both left

Nanu's POV

Mecha sat down and she started to eat her ice cream, I took one bite of mine then someine suddenly hugged me, it was Run "Big brother Nanu! I want some ice cream too!" she said before I feed her "Its so good!"

"Hey Run, you can have mine if you want" Mecha said before Run hugged her

"I love you, big sis!" Run said then Mecha smiled

"Are you full?" I asked then Mecha nodded, I finised my ice cream then Mecha stood up and sat beside me "What's wrong?" She suddenly kissed me on the cheek which made me blush and it kept me slient

Run was smiling at us then Mecha walked away, continuing her work "That's not fair, Nanu. You got a kiss from Mecha-chi" Kurome said in my mind, "What do you mean Kurome?" I asked "I wish she could do that to me too" "Don't you dare touch her" "I'm already hugging her" I quickly looked for Mecha, I went to the employees only room and saw Kurome hugging Mecha "Kurome! Let her go!"

Mecha gasped for air and said "I almost suffocated! Kurome! Don't hug me out of nowhere!"

"Mecha, you know her?" I said

"Kinda, she suddenly pops in my office but I didn't think she would go here" Mecha said as Kurome poke her cheek "She's so annoying! Leave me alone!" Mecha tried to push Kurome but failed because she was tired

"Your body is so warm now" Kurome said putting her forehead against Mecha's "You have a fever"

"CPUs don't get sick like humans" I said

"Something must have caused it" Kurome said worriedly "Anyways, I can't go out in public. Nanu, why don't you help Mecha to her Basilicom" I nodded and carried her on my back

At Lastation's Basilicom

"I'm sorry if I can't play video games with you" Mecha said "When I get better, I'll go to Leanbox and play with you, I promise"

"Yeah, I'll make you your favorite sandwhich too" I said then I blushed "M-Mecha, why did you kiss my cheek?"

Mecha giggled as she blush a bit "You had ice cream on your cheek" she said before I laughed

"Anyways, you should get some rest and I need to pay you back" I said before I kissed her forehead making her blush even more "I'll check on you later okay"

"I-if I get up here, I'll kill you!" Mecha said blushing
