Here's the other half of weigh ins. Newt went with us because he was acting like a big baby.

It started as a normal weigh in. No complications. One goat and two sheep (Newt was being a big baby and so he came as well) in a trailer. When we got there it was goats on one side, sheep on the other. Tina went into the scale. The person yelled out "71 pounds". Tina got a new ear tag to go with her scrapie eat tag (The scrapie tag is required by law so if you were to sell the lamb as breeding and it got scrapie it could be tracked to original owner). Then they realized she had gotten a pig ear tag. Then I had to wait for about 30 minutes before they came back and cut off it and put a new one in. At the end it looked like I killed someone because it had been in a new ear so the whole was fresh. In the process of cutting out the old one and putting in the new one blood had dripped on my hand (Oh well). After that we started for where the lambs stay and I started to feed them. I turned around for two seconds to get a little more grain and Newt made his great escape. Like a ninja he was out of the pen. For the next two minutes I called his name and bribed him with his dinner. Finally he went into the pen. At least it wasn't crazy as Tuesday I would've cried.
