The Awkward Family Dinner

Lexi's P.O.V

So we practically spent 4 hours at the shops finding clothes for me. I sighed we were now in my car heading come.

"So I asked mum and she said that dad already bought the house for us and that we can move in tomorrow." I said smiling

"Did my parents pay as well?" Jen asked

"No why?" I asked confused

"I can't let your parents do all the paying!" She whined. I chuckled.

"Jen are you forgetting my dad is a lawyer, trust me it's fine." I said smiling

"I know but it doesn't feel fine." She said in her 'gangster tone'

I laughed so hard I could feel tears forming up. After few minutes I managed to contain my laughter. I had to think of an excuse....

"Well think of it this way. You're paying by staying with me and not letting be scared of living alone." I said

"No! Not good enough!" She snapped.

"Fine it can be your birthday present?' I asked hoping she could go ok.

"Okay!" She said cheerfully. YES Lexi does it again!

"Can't wait!!!" I yelled. Until we pulled up at her driveway.

"See you tomorrow!" She said and left, I drove to my house and walked through the door surprised to see dad home.

"Hey dad!" I said cheerfully

"Hello Lexi." He smiled

"Dear I got some good news for you!" Said mum entering from the kitchen.

"Hmm." I relied

"You know Mrs Hawk?" She asked. I almost chocked on my food.

"Yeaaa..." I said looking at mum

"Well they're coming over for dinner and she mentioned her son Logan." She said wiggling her eyebrows.

"MUM!" I yelled, she just started laughing. I crossed my arms over my chest and stormed up to my room.

"They are coming around 7!!" She shouted

I glanced at my watch and it was 6:13pm. Whew I have time. I ran to the showers and played some music as I got in the showers I was humming along to the music once I was done I dried my hair and walked to my bags and found this teal dress. I out it on and let my hair out, I only put some foundation on then I skipped downstairs and grabbed an apple and there was a knocked at the door.

"I'll get it!" I shouted and walked to the door and greeted Mrs and Mr Hawk. Then Logan yipeeeeeeeee.

"Ahhh so glad you came Sue and Peter." I heard my mum

"Yes nice to see you again." With that they left leaving me and Logan.

"Come in, you look nice today Logan." I said obviously not meaning it.

"I know" with that he walked past me and plopped down on the couch. And didn't even compliment me.

"Except you just forgot your tiara, Princess." I teased

"Oh no I'll just have one of yours." He said smirking. I didn't even bother talking to him I walked to the kitchen and saw the food was ready.

Everyone was talking but me and Logan I just sat there eating then I got a text. From Luke

"Uhh mum Luke texted me, I'll be right back." I said walked to the kitchen

Hey. From Luke

What's up? -Lexi

Just bored- Luke

It's better than having Logan in your house -Lexi

Hahahah just ask your mum if you can come over and Jen can come too- Luke

Sure- Lexi. Hmmm since he already tried to make me jealous i thought I'd just now.

"Hey mum, Luke was wondering if I could come over." I said. She looked shocked.

"Can I go over?" I asked

"Yes sure, what are you going to do?" She asked in front of everyone. Yay

"Watch movies." I replied

"Is Jen going to be there?" She asked

"Probably." I said

"Okay well have fun!" She said cheerfully

I waved to all of them except Logan and drove to Jen's place and picked her up for our 'movie time' with Luke. Yay
