When I got home from Charlie's after Bella left I ran up to my room and change.
when finished I walked down stairs I saw Esme rearranging the flowers in the Vase . I walked over to her with a smile .
"Morning Esme." I greeted sitting at the table as she arranged .
"Cora Dear where were you last night ?" She asked sweetly with a knowing sparkle in her eyes .
"Oh I was at Charlie's." I stated like it was old news .
She smiled before she bent and gripped me in a hug . "Oh Darling I am so happy Edward and you have found your others halves . " She said proudly .
"Esme I wanted to ask you something ?" I spoke as she pulled away from her emotional hug .
"You can ask me anything . " She assured sitting in the chair next to me .
" Well you see Charlie has now decided to except me but he doesn't know what I am , I was wondering if I didn't tell him about you if maybe I could just tell him about my species."
"Well Cora I don' see a problem with it as long as he isn't informed about what the rest of us are for his safety ,I am sure it would be fine . "
I smiled . "thank you it means a lot to me . "
We sat in a comfortable silence as she organized the flowers at a human pace just because she felt like it . It was common in our family to do things in a very human way just because we could . I think it because it makes us feel more human , Esme even cooks for me even though she can't or doesn't eat food .
Skip early next morning -
I sat upstairs looking through my closet when Alice walked In with a smile plastered on her face . "What could it be that you want Alice ?" I teased knowing full well she wanted to help pick my outfit for my first date.
"You know exactly what I'm here ." I gave her a look telling her "I can pick out my own clothes thank you" But she was stubborn . "No , You might as well give in now instead of wasting time complaining ."
I groaned as I looked to the ceiling silently begging the gods to spare me ." Fine ." I heaved in defeat when I wasn't rescued . Alice gave a girly squealed which I returned with an eye roll .
"How does Jasper keep up with you?" I mumbled as she tugged me into the closet to search for the perfect outfit .
"Oh , Hush ." She giggled hold clothes up to me and wondering around the large closet .
Skip .... 7 hours later -
I Sat on the bed as Rosalie did my makeup Alice having left a few minutes ago finished with her torture of picking clothes for me out.
" Rose ?" I spoke up while she did my eyes .
"Hmm?"
" Do you think Charlie feels the pull from us being mates ?" I looked down . "I mean I feel it but he's human ."
"I am sure he does or he wouldn't of given into going out with a girl who looks old enough to be his daughter ."
I groan when she mentions my physical age Making her chuckle .
"I wish I would have found him sooner you know ."
" I know but hey it was meant to be this way , It may be difficult but If you love each other you two will work through it okay ?"
"yeah I guess your right , But-" She grabbed my chin and made me look her in the eyes .
"Stop second guessing it , You deserve this and so much more I know you and Edward both think you don't deserve this but you two do ."
I sighed and nodded . "I know "
"Good , Just let go , Let him take the lead now that he has decided to try to be with you ." She went back to doing my makeup . " let him lead you through the relationship he has more experience whether your older than him or not . " I gave a small smile .
Charlie had more experience yes but he still blushed at the tiniest things he never made the first move with anything . But experience showed in the physical aspect from what happened yesterday morning . That had felt so much more than anything I had done to myself or what Philip and I had done .
"Your right I need to relax ." I stated after she finished standing in front of the mirror doing a spin with a giggle .
