Would "us" work?

The following day, my mom woke me up, "Rise and shine sleepy head," but this time I got up quickly, and not with a smile, I don't want my mom to get suspicious. My mom will find out whats going on with me once she is suspicious, she is probably the best person I know who can find stuff out really well. That's what I'm scared of.

"Ok. I'm up, sleepy head is rising and shining." I said to my mom still feeling a bit tired. How did she know I was a sleepy head today? Wait, we're talking about my mom here, my mom, she knows everything. Let's hope she doesn't know about my crush on Brian.

I went to get ready, but this time, not using that long on my hair, I just tied it into a high ponytail, I learned my lesson after yesterday. Of course, I had to look good so I did use a bit more time than usual trying to look good, but what can I say, a girl has to do what a girl has to do when she has a crush on someone.

I had time to eat cereal in the kitchen and not a sandwich in the car but I had to hurry if i wanted to get to know more about Brian or maybe even get a chance to talk to him not about classwork.

I ate my chocolate cereal quickly. I loved chocolate cereal. Yum!

I went to look at my teeth and around my mouth in the mirror making sure that there is no chocolate left. I rinsed my mouth once or twice, then my mom drove me to school.

"Thanks mom." luckily I was early. It was just 7:17am.

I walked to my classroom quickly with a huge smile on my face. When i got there, there were only a few people in class.

Luckily, Brian was one of them, with all the other people in the class surrounding him. How does he get so much attention?

I put my bag down at the back of the classroom as always. As i walked to the group of people, I saw Sarah wink at me because of Brian. I blushed a little.

I got to know more about Brian. He also got to know more about me. I the only things that were going through my mind were 'wow, he's so cute.' and 'wow, he's so nice.'

I can't believe how much fun we had and how much he made me smile. At this time, I had butterflies in my stomach, a lot of butterflies, and by a lot, I do mean A LOT.

The group of people slowly became a crowd as people started arriving at school.

It was so much better with less people though, that way he could also get to know me more, and not just talk about him. But I still enjoyed talking to him with a crowd of people surrounding him who are also talking to him.

In class Brian would need help every now and then with his classwork. He concentrates a lot in class, I don't get why he claims that he doesn't get good results.

I started getting used to him being next to me and started paying attention in class, like before, I needed to keep my grades up.

During break, after eating with the class, Sarah, Brian, Sky(him and I were quite close, but just friends, he also hangs out with Sarah, Brian and Ben), Ben(Brian's best friend at the moment and close to Sky, Sarah and I) and I were hanging out together.

I got to know Brian more. I liked hanging out with this group of people. They were so fun to be with. I wish this break could last forever, but sadly, it had to end.

Being with Brian during break with a bunch of friends was a good start, I was so happy, so very extremely happy. Hanging out with him alone would be quite awkward but thanks to this lot of good friends, it wasn't at all as awkward as I expected. Brian is the nicest guy I have ever met in my life. He knows how to put a smile on my face.

In class, we were more open to each other since we now know each other more. That made classes so much more fun.

Brian brightened up my world. When I think of him, I realize a smile already on my face. I feel like he's the one. I feel like he is perfect for me. But would he like me back? Would we ever be together? Would he even consider me as a friend? Would us.. work?

I know I am writing the chapters a bit too short. Hope u guys don't hate this because of how short all my of chapters are. I'll try to make longer ones if I can. I'm new to this so please put into consideration that I am just a beginner in this. Anyway, thanks for reading to here even though it's short. Sorry for grammar and spelling mistakes. Please correct me if you find any in order for me to improve and write better stories. Also, please comment your opinion on my story, or use of words.
