"Are you out of your mind! You support this nonsense!? He's already married!" Harry's father yelled at Louis not believing what his actual son in law was saying."Desmond, relax. You know nothing was legally signed between Harry and me and he's free to do whatever he wants including getting married to someone else." Louis said calmly shocking everyone in the room.
"Louis, let's go. I told you it would be a mistake, they will never be there for me." Harry tugged on Louis's sleeve.
*Flashback*
Harry barged in Louis's room one night with tear strained cheek and a runny nose.
"Harry? What are you doing here?" Louis asked closing his laptop and placing it on the bedside table. Since their night of passion, they both had been avoiding each other like plague. Harry was mostly out with Nick or recording in the studio and Louis was overworking.
Harry didn't really want to talk about how alive and right he felt that night he lost his virginity by cheating and Louis didn't want to bring it up because he thought Harry regrets it.
"I'm so confused and I don't know why-" Harry started blabbering and sat in front of Louis, "Like I shouldn't be confused cause it was a dream once upon a time to be forever with Nick and now that's happening and I should be happy and I am but now when I see you I am happy i don't know! Is everything happening too fast? Or I should just go with it!?"
Louis pulled Harry in for a hug and made him rest his face against Louis's chest. "Sshhh.." Louis hushed Harry knowing the boy blabbers only when he's had too much to take in and is overthinking. Harry doesn't do well with overthinking. "Take a deep breath in and out. Stop thinking for 10 minutes, close your eyes and relax. Then tell me what's bothering you, I promise I'll be there." Louis soothed our Harry's curls, lulling the boy to keep calm.
"Nick and I are getting married." Harry began after a while, "His parents are forcing him to get married to someone else and he doesn't want that cause he- he loves me, so he proposed me instead saying that his parents wouldn't mind since they like me and he says he knows me enough to spend the rest of his life with me." Harry finished, pulling away from Louis and looking up to see his reaction.
Just when Louis thought he was broken enough and all the damage had been done, fate loved to prove him wrong. "You said yes." Louis voice broke.
"It had been my dream all along." 'Till you came and made me feel things I never could've imagined.' But Harry refused to say that. He can't say or think stuff like that anymore, he's officially engaged now.
'And marrying you was also my dream, but some people don't really matter in this world.' "Then why are you confused?"
"Cause I think maybe all this is going fast?"
"Harry, you're getting the opportunity of life to let your dreams be fulfilled. It's a little scary, I know." This is what Louis was feeling when he was waiting at the altar for Harry. "But, it's worth the risk."
Seeing the way Harry lit up and smiled, Louis thinks, 'Yes, everything is worth it.'
"Thank you, Lou." Harry hugged Louis. "You're the best!" The boy was so sure that this was the last straw to pull when he was about to tell his suppose to be husband about getting married to some other guy, but he was over the moon to see Louis still be by his side. "What did I ever do to deserve you?"
"Exist." Louis murmured and it was getting harder to not kiss Louis.
*End*
Now they were here, flown down to their village cause Louis convinced Harry to make amends with his parents and invite them to the wedding.
