Chapter 9

Hey, an actual chapter! I bet you're glad it's not a "quick announcement"

Julian's pov...I guess? (finally XD)

Julian blinked open his eyes to intense whiteness. He rubbed his eyes and they cleared. He looked around the white hospital room and his eyes landed on y/n. She had a cast on her left wrist. She still had not woken up. A teardrop rolled down Julian's cheek but he didn't bother to brush it off. It rolled down his face and dropped onto his bandaged hand. Everything was all his fault. If he hadn't have bothered y/n that day in the park, hadn't have been the gentleman he was and tried to pick up her water bottle, hadn't fallen in love with her, none of this would have happened. He hated himself.

"Nngh...?"

Julian's head snapped up and he saw y/n stir. He jumped up and ran over to the side of the bed.

"...Julian...?" Y/n slowly opened her eyes. She tried to move her hand but winced.

"Shh, shh, it's okay," Julian said to her. "Don't talk."

"Julian...what happened? Why am I...in the...hospital?" Y/n mumbled. Julian could tell she was beginning to have after-shock.

"Shhh, y/n, it's gonna be okay, calm down..." Julian whispered. He bent down next to her and stroked her hair. "You fell off the porch. Mia said she tried to catch you but as you fell you kicked her in the face. But you're gonna be oka-"

"What?!" Y/n yelled. 

Julian jumped back, shocked. "What is it?"

"I did not fall and I did not kick her! She tried to choke me and then she pushed me!"

Julian flashed a look of worry, but when shook his head. "Mia wouldn't do something like that. She's too sweet." He rubbed the top of y/n's head and kissed her forehead. "Must be the aftershock," Julian mumbled to himself.

Then y/n fell asleep and Julian sat back down. He put his head in his hands and sat back down. Another tear rolled down his cheek.

Sorry for the short chapter but you all wanted an update, so there you have it! Also, pm me if you have any ideas for this book please. Writer's block is the worst.
