[Dazai Dark Age Timeline]

The bright morning rays from the sun brightened Tomie's room, she awakes to change out of her clothes and into her uniform... she takes a look at the calendar and remembered that the mid-terms exams are almost upon her... though as she remember... back to the events that had transpired the day before, she could not even begin to feel at ease... she took a sigh as she plants it in her head once more...

'There are people out there that are targeting me...'

She is back home right now... with both her parents. But of course, whatever happened the day before remained a secret from them, though they were worried as to why Tomie had went home so late, they believed her right away when she said it was because she had assignments at school. Of course, this was unavoidable, there is no telling how her parents would react if she were to tell them she had almost committed suicide, was chased after and almost killed by an ability-wielding stranger, and went to an underground bar with three suspicious men she barely even knows...

But now, looking back again, aside from Dazai, out of all the strangers she had met, one of them reminds her... of someone that was very dear to her... someone she thought would never meet again...

Her brother...

Just as Tomie finished dressing in her uniform, a knock can be heard from her door.

"Tomie" called a sweet woman's voice, it is her mother "you have friends waiting for you downstairs, hurry down alright?" after that, her voice fades, along with her footsteps, away from Tomie's door.

Friends? Tomie could not recall if any of her classmates were going to visit her this early in the morning, perhaps someone is inviting her to walk to school together then?

Either way, Tomie finished up in her bed room, whilst checking she did not forget anything, before heading downstairs to the living room, as she near the living room, she can hear her mother talk to someone else

'My friends?' thought Tomie

But as she arrive in that living room, she was greeted by the sight of her mother talking to two particularly familiar individuals, a man covered in bandages, and another man with a hat. Both covered in black formal attire.

It is Dazai and Chuuya, Dazai is sitting next to Tomie's mother, happily chatting with her, while Chuuya is looking around the living room, particularly at the photographs of Tomie and her family, as they caught his attention.

"Good morning~ Tomie-chan~!" said Dazai, as he waves his hand while sitting on the sofa, in the middle of a conversation with Tomie's mother, who seem to have had a rather pleasant talk with the man.

Tomie could only stand there, though she subconsciously replied to Dazai's greeting, she was dumbfounded, out of all the 'friends' that could have visited her, somehow it didn't occur to Tomie that it could be the two men from only yesterday. The men that not only saved her but are apparently after her as well.

"Dazai-san.. Chuuya-san.. Wha-what are you doing here...?" Tomie asked, still surprised.

"Let's go to school together!" he said, smiling cheerfully. That smile is not the same like the last smile he showed her, the spine-chilling smile from the bar... "Come on! Me and Chuuya are gonna take you there, won't that be fun?"

The girl, surprised to hear that, did not even know how to react to all of this. Though she is rather happy that the two men came all this way to accompany her, to perhaps even protect her... is it really alright to accept their invitation? Considering they have even stated that they are coming after her as well...? But... her doubt aside, her manners come first, and she would not want to worry her mother by refusing as it may lead to unnecessary events... Tomie gave a nod, accepting their invite.
