U.N.I. - Ed Sheeran (because i find it incredible how fast he sings haha)

I closed my eyes trying to get some sleep. I was tired as hell but, my mind wouldn't stop running over everything that happened the last hour.

I heard a buzz coming from the nightstand beside me. I grasped my phone and saw the words of 'one new text message' light up the screen.

From Harry:

Have u told him???

I thought about whether or not I should answer him, and decided that it was best not to. I put the phone back down and once again tried to get some sleep.

The days at the hospital when by pretty slowly, but it finally came to the day I could get discharged from the hospital. I nurse walked into the room as I was about to get up from the bed. "Need any help?" she asked with a polite smile.

"No it's fine" I said getting up with no trouble.

"Do you have anyone who can drive you home?" she said handing over my closed. I gave her a small thank you, I'm not even sure she heard.

"I... um..." I thought about it for a second before I remembered the taxi guy Evan said I could call him any time. "Yes I have someone." I gave her small smile and a nod as a hint that she was allowed to leave again. I put on my clothes and dialled the number written on the small paper he gave me. He picked up after two rings.

"Hello?" his deep voice sounded from the little device in my hand.

"Hi. Evan? It's Mandy. I don't know if you remember me. I'm the girl you drove to the hospital a couple of days ago?" I said mentally crossing my fingers that he remembered. It would be pretty embarrassing if he didn't.

"'course I remember! How are you?" he nearly yelled into the phone, making me let out a small giggle.

"I'm good, I'm going home today and I was wondering -if it's not too much to ask for- if you could, pretty please pick me up" I bit my lip expecting to get a 'no'.

"Sure I'll be there in five." I could hear the smile in his voice, making me smile too.

"Thank you." I let out a sigh in relief and said 'goodbye'. I slipped the phone into my back pocket and limped over to the door. Just as I was about to open the door, someone did the same, bumping the door into me. I lost my balance and fell to the ground. The nurse from before rushed to my side, and helped me up.

"I am so sorry, are you okay?" she said as she checked about every part of my body.

"Yes I'm fine" I chuckled and she did the same.

"I actually came to give you these." She said getting the crutches from the floor and giving them to me. "Your ankle is still a little fragile." She added.

I frowned. "My ankle? The doctor didn't say anything about my ankle?" I said trying to recall the how I must have hurt my ankle.

"It says here in your files that you sprinted your ankle. The doctor must've forgotten to tell you... I'll make sure to pass that on." she smiled getting up from her seat. I got up supporting myself to the crutches, and walked to the front door of the hospital where Evan was just about to park. I walked outside and got into his taxi.

"hi." He smiled. "You look better." He looked me up and down.

"I feel better." I nodded. I gave him my address and he started the car.
